I see on the AutoArt website that the GTR version of the Diablo is now listed as 'comming soon'.
I think it would be a good idea for someone (preferably Biante/AutoArt) to make a limited run of these, in the Australian war paint that was run by Paul Stokell in the Nations Cup.
Anyone who has seen this fantasic car in action would agree that
it's simply a sensational race car - sounds great too!!!
This might be 'pie in the sky' stuff, but it would make a great model for Australian collectors. My preferance would be for the 666 version that was run during 2001, because of the link of the # to the Italian defination of 'Diablo' (Italian for Devil!!!)
cheers.
ps. any idea of the arrival of the Yellow GTR admin ?
It's the road car i'd have, if I had the money !!!!
Or maybe make it/box it as 2002 Sandown 500 champ-Stokell/Tratt.

I'd buy one for sure, I'd also like to have John Bowe's Ferrari, Jim Richard's Porsche and the Red Viper, can't think of the guys name off the top of my head.

Now I remember somewhere there being something, about the Bowe Ferrari in a previous post (real vauge on the actual dates on this one !!!).
It went something like this,
due to Ferrari having an exclusive argreement with ???(can't remember the manfacturer - could be hot wheels) only them (????) can make Ferrari's until 2004 (don't quote me on this). After that it should/could be on the drawing board.
Sorry, but it's all i can remember - perhaps if someone wants to go back throught a few months posts they could find out for sure.
cheers
ps. I'd really love a Stokell Diablo GTR to go with the Mega Monaro when it comes out.

The post you are refering to is that a lim. run of 500 by minichamps,of the Ferrari F355 with POZ cola sponsoring on it as it raced in Nations cup.
I ,personaly, am still looking to add this one to my collection.
I had 2 people react to an ad I placed but they wanted me to tell them how much it was worth? I asked them to name there price and never heard anymore about it. this was by the way a 1/43 scale. I am still looking for it!
The Lambo as discussed before is now here in Perth and owned by a well known identity here in Perth .I do see the actual car fairly regurlaly and have to say it is sensational and of a very limitedbatch as it has a plague on it indentifing it as a Le Mans purpose build.

The POZ Cola 1:43rd Ferrari were made by Biante, using a Minichamp model.
They were commisioned by Model Cars Too in Sydney and made here in Perth.
The model actually won a prize at an advertising seminar for the graphic artist who did the design and decal work.

I am NOT going to disclose who owns this car .
I am also not going to be part of a guessing game.
It is NOT Mr. A Barbagallo who owns it.
Thanks for the info on the Bowe POZ cola F355 1/43 admin.
Will Mr Admin say yes to our proposal?
Possibly a Nations cup collection could be done with the Monaro(already confirmed),Stokell Lambo,Bowe 360GT(or proposed 2003 550 marinello),Morgon Viper(possibly 2003 viper) and several Porsche 911RS's of Richards,Fizgerald,Quinn etc.
Will Minichamps or IXO make the Cirtek Porsche or Mosler MT900R from this years Bathurst 24 hour?

Are you talking about Stokell's Diablo, or another Ferrari ?
