Just read on Autosport that Anders Olofson died in his sleep on tuesday night...

The Swede was a regular enduro driver with Gibson Motorsport in early 90's.

Also won Spa 24 hour race with David Brabham in 1991 (Nissan), and finished second at Le Mans in 1997 (McLaren).

And he was only 55!

Damn good GT-R driver. Still remember the 3rd at Mt Panorama in 1992...

Thats sad news, he was also a pretty handy steerer of the Flying Bricks in the ETCC before his Nissan career took off

That is sad only 55 bloody hell, Nice bloke good driver... as it says above he drove with Gibson Motorsport for a few years.....also drove with Steven Richards in 95 Steve got Rookie of the year

That is so incredibly sad. My best wishes to his family and friends.
I had plans of interviewing him at some stage for a project I wanted to get going - sadly that is now no longer possible.
