OUCH!!!! HEWARD555

I've just been stung. He's changed his SOLD.com name to cobra3502003 and e-mail is cobra3502003@yahoo.com.au.

same person as i just got the same story, $1000.00 tax bill etc.
Even made a bogus "good" listing on this new account using HEWARD555 as the buyer.

Beware.......

After reading this aledged persons posts of remorse & sorrow on the other post today, I would be absolutely sickened if this is the case.

I really hope for the rest of us that this isn't the case, otherwise I would be utterly disscusted that such a person may have done such, after the public grilling & subsequent reassurances that have been given to all of the concerned members of this forum.

Do we really need these type of people taking part in our forum - I think not.

If anyone posts his contact details, including address, ADMIN will delete or edit the post.

Rather than that, if you know this fellows details, email me, and i'll post them on www.monaro.com.au were 20,000 people a month will see it. Im sure a few other collectors can do the same thing. Furthermore, if youve been ripped by this w@nker, email me your story and i'll publish it on the site (your details will be anonymous if you require).

When cobra3502003 pulled out of a bid 24h before the auction closed I checked his rating, and came to the same conclusion that croweater came to in the other post, that cobra3502003, heward555 and jding1232002 are all the same person. Luckily it only cost me $10 to re-auction the item.

Firstly, does anybody have the name and or address of the cobra and jding names to prove our theory?

Secondly, what about anybody who notices any of these people bidding on an auction, posts a link here and everybody can tell the seller their experiences by way of the ask a question facility on the auctions...There are many ways to skin a cat...

Hey guys, just be careful with some of these posts.

We all know who the first person was & it is not confermed if this new offender is the same person (what about innocent until proven gulty ???).

I'm sure you all saw yesterday's news about the defamination of a well know Melbourne businessman & how he is successfully taking a number of companies to court about items published on the internet.

We all know people are discussed by the previously mentioned actions of the various person/s, but just make sure you think before you go posting items which contains names, peoples ph #'s & the like etc...., - use a but of common sense !!!

I'm sure we do not need to do this (list personal details) as to me it sounds like some of you want to publish their personal details as a mean to allow other parties to harras these people as a pay back for their actions, which I think is just wrong.

By all means write your posts announcing your disapointed with these aledged actions (safe legal talk), but just be carefull in the way in which you vent your anger - the last thing we would all want is for these people to successfully sue the authors of posts from this forum, it would be like rubbing salt in the wounds.
cheers.

Yet another note to make you aware of a seller on Sold.com.au who is cheating the system to get top dollar for his items.

His user ID is Gunshotgannon1 and deals in alot of Trax models.

The method he uses is quite ellaberate and must spend a lot of time doing it.

He uses a number of alias Yahoo ID's to push the price up on his auctions.

I have studied his auctions after seeing ridiculous bids being placed on them.

Here is what he does:

Places an auction with a high reserve price.
Then bids on his own auction using alias ID's to push the price right up to one bid away from a unrealistic reserve price.

This makes it look like people are actually willing to pay these ridiculous prices.

He then waits for an un-experienced bidder to place the next bid.

People who are novices and do not know realistic values for items feel comfortable paying high dollars because it looks like other people are willing to pay the same.

He also simply outbids real bidders thus pushing up the price to find the highest proxy bid.

The alias ID's he uses do have positive feedback for buying items. But the feedback comes from Gunshotgannon1 (Surprise, Surprise).

In other words, when he is using his alias bidders to bump up bids on his own auctions, sometimes he is stuck at the highest bidder and sells to himself then simply leaves positive feedback for his alias bidders.

This makes his alias bidders look legitamate.

Here is a list of his alias ID's I have worked out so far:

Hotford302
Modelsdownunder
Traxnut
Diecastmad

He is always creating new ones.

So be aware and avoid his auctions or only bid what you are prepared to pay and don't get tricked.

While we are not responsible for dealings on our buy, sell, swap section of our website, we totally dislike people who use this forum and do not deliver.

We have had reported that a Kelly Beeston has not forwarded a Moffat 65E model to the purchaser. When the model did not arrive after ONE MONTH, Kelly said the money would be refunded.
Surprise, surprise, the refund has not arrived yet.

Suggest

a) Kelly refunds the $500 without delay.
b) People avoid dealing with Kelly Beeston.

its not kim beesley is it?
he couldnt deliver either....

i too have had a bad experience on B/S/S with a trader that delivered a previously repaired model (not MIB as described). he still trades and has used numerous email addresses. that mistake cost me $650.

be careful they are out there

Dammit. My skin crawled when I read this.....

Mind you,, the only dealing I've had with Chris so far, was on a 'Buy it now' auction.
This is the method I used to buy and yes, there was one other bidder - diecastmad, with one feedback item from gunshotgannon.

I am happy with with the model he sent, and the price I paid.
Incidentally, the model in question was the Track DJR 1/43rd XC Lakeside car. I paid $155 for it.

I haven't seen them around much, but if anyone else has prices, by all means send me a PM to tell me what you paid.

I have no problem recommending the service Chris provided me, but I tell you what, I will be doing my homework to avoid people like Mr Heward!!!

The other person concerned is a Matt Kovalik from Sydney.

If anyone else has had dealings with either of these people, please contact us without delay.

If anyone has placed funds into an account and not recieved the goods then they should inform the bank and the police to ensure that the funds are returned. The bank will have the details of the person for the follow-up action necessary.

Good luck, wankers like this need sorting out.

This person's latest email address is bianteking@yahoo. Name is David and he lives in Millthorpe NSW.

Another collector has just lost $40 for postage on a COD model that was not collected at the Post Office. Same old story - waiting for some money. Like if you have not got the funds, don't try to make purchases....

Suggest that collectors avoid this person like the plague..

Bianteking, please explain:

a) how an email account gets suspended,
b) why you find the need for multiple auction aliases,
c) how you expect to take legal action against someone for informing others of something you admit to doing?

Going by your previous actions, it looks like you cant even afford to try legal action....

Bianteking
03-03-2003, 12:18 PM
a)After 4 bad ratings your email account gets suspended
b)A need to find the people out so I could reinburse them.
c)I like I said I am doing things differently for example I am only getting a model one a week which I can afford.

As for the legal side there are couple of loop holes in defermaion that can be used.

So... you come in here and say your trying to smooth things over, but then you threaten legal action if someone is annoyed that you ripped them off.

What youve done is called fraud, and is certainly more serious than defamation, loop holes or not.

It least your willing to try (I hope) to change your ways. As for the username of 'bianteking' I think you've really got a nerve !!!

Hey Bianteking you forgot to put in your email address. I certanly want my $30.00 back that you promised before christmas. If you don't remember it it was a Johnson xd double signed. With the number of aliasses you have you must of ripped a lot of people off to be banned that many times. Feel free to email me on cwynn@ihug.com.au and I will give you my details.
