Hi there guys,

Just a quick question does anyone have any of these models. The place I brought my Webber Minardi off in the US has the Mick Doohan 98 Honda NSR500 and the 87 Wayne Gardner Honda NSR500 models on sale, both with Helmet. I am just wonder what the quailty of these bikes are like.

Thanks for your time.

Cheers
Mark

I bought these two bikes a little while ago, $40 ea. They are the only bike models I own. Seeing as how they are models of our own World Champs I thought they would be good to have.

I'm no bike expert but I think the models are good, not great but I'm very happy with them.

Worthwhile to have for what they represent. I don't think you would be dissappointed with them.

Thanks for that Goggles, I agree they are both Aussie world champs and worthy of a model collection. The other one I wanted was the Bayliss 2001 Ducati. Those a fetching quite a few dollars now.

Thanks again for your opinion

Just wait until Minichamps make Bayliss' bike in 1:12, it is in production planned mode at the moment. I have the Rossi bike and the detail is superb, one of my favourite models in my collection.

IXO may do Bayliss's 2003 Moto GP Ducatti in 1/24 next year.
More Aussie riders bikes should be done in 1/24 like Mccoy and Pitts 2003 Kawasaki's(2 set possibly) and Troy Corsers 2003 team carl foggarty bike in SKB(may go to moto gp in 2004).
These would go great beside the current Doohan and Gardner bikes.
