Can someone please direct me in the right direction?

Hi to all :).
I have a friend that has an 8 -9m date palm that he wants to sell. I have heard that there are companies out there that purchase these huge trees. A few years ago near my house, a person was getting his palm tree pulled out. He told me that they were paying him for the tree and that they were covering all costs to remove the tree. That person no longer lives there and back then I failed to get the companies business card (silly me).
Can anyone direct us in the right direction. You never know, someone might know a person in this industry. The location of the tree is in South Australia.

Have you asked the Adelaide Botanical Gardens. They might put you onto someone.

you could try the large developers like the one we have over here and possibly Australia wide Australand [ by memory]
they often put these as a focal point on new estates or try some of the larger home builders.
