I was just wondering what everybody out there's favourite diecast brand. Personally I think Classic Carlectables are pretty god (apart from their release dates ) and Biante and Auto Art make some good models. If you are looking for cheaper ferrari's or any supercars, Hot Wheels can even be alright as long as you don't care as much about the interior as it is not that detailed.

My addiction started with models kits in 2000, then Hotwheels in 2002, then Biante. I didn't start buying expensive 1:18 models till 2006.

Are you a fan of the cmc's prices.:p
I think they are the best models by far but they are also very very expensive.

They can be found at reasonable prices, but for my world champions collection price isn't really an issue.

I am like King Wayno.
Have to say that the 2006/7 Classic Carlectables Bathurst winners in 1/18 are first class.
I do not mind paying for propperly made diecast models and CMC are worth every penny

Classic Carlectables
Biante
Autoart
I've always liked V8 Supercars made by Classic Carlectables.:)
Biante seem to have a better variety of Aussie cars.
Autoart is good for foreign cars, aswell as Aussie cars.

Exoto & CMC. They are extremely well detailed and worth every cent.
GMP is another favourite as they do the 1/12 GT40's which I love as I cant stretch the budget to an Exoto 1/10

I only have the following brands in my collection
Biante
CC
GMP
Autoart
Minichamps
GMP is my favourite
CC and Biante are a tie for me (both have good and bad points)
Minichamps
Autoart.
After seeing CMC Products, they are the best I've seen....although I don't own any

I think Kyosho are excellent. Their range of 1:18 is expanding and their quality is as good as Minichamps and AUTOart yet they are almost always cheaper.

The quality is quite alright for the cost. Besides that, who else makes them? Nobody. So if you like them, buy them. They do display quite well.
I'd say, Kyosho, CMC then exoto,Autoart, CC then Biante. ertl authentics/precision 100's are darn good too.

The dukes of Hazard model is average quality compared to some of the biante and cc models but I still reccomend you get one.
