Just got my CC Geoghegan Mustang
There is nothing Biante could learn about making model cars from this one, except for one thing - the bonnet hinges, a great bit of detail!
Nice model though.

So what's the quality like? Worth the money?

Saw one yesterday model shop in Sydney, detail of engine bay looks superb, exterior & interior looks great, dont know about the underside
Picked mine up yesterday, & spent quite a bit of time comparing it side by side with my Precision 100 '64 1/2 convertible, which was considered by many to be a benchmark when it was released...
IMHO, this one surpasses the P100 model in (almost) every respect..
In a nutshell, Quite superb !!
If you're a Geoghegan fan, and / or a Ford fan (especially Mustangs, like I am), then do yourself a favour and check it out..
Worth the money ??? Well, that's up to the individual, I guess..
At $195.00 retail, it's expensive, but way, w-a-a-a-y better value than those "Hot Memorabilia" rip-offs !! (which I refuse to buy).
Keep The Shiny Side Up !!

Equal in build qualitity to Biante I must say.
Picked one up today. The bonnet hinges that are very well done. Also when you rotate the rear wheels the diff and tailshaft turn as well, another good touch.
Also had a look at CC's Perkins 2002 car and Seton AU , plenty of detail, they were both very well done. The only thing that could be picked on would maybe be too much camber on the rear wheels but who am I to say. Rubber aerials on the roof (no more broken aerials)and removeable engine air intake lid to reveal all the air intake tubes underneath make both these models in a class of their own. All packaged in foam and the same size boxes and with only LE of 1200 for each model.
Excellent models .
Its good to see somebody else making as good a model as Biante as this gives more depth to the current line of Australian models available.
Don't get me wrong , I have every Biante released to date bar the Green ,Yellow and Brock 1 Toranas but I think we have another first class model manufacturer out there now to consider for Australian models.
There will be the critics, there always is but lets give credit were credit is due.
Happy Collecting

I think the Mustang is superb. Cant wait to pick mine up. I like the under car detail on this one and the finish is excellent.
Got the Seton car the other day. Very much improved, is a little different to the biante Falcon. The only big difference seems to be the height of the rear spoiler on the falcon, seems very low when compared to the Biante, and the rear seems a little wider. As Seto had one of the best looking cars of the year (in my opinion) it is a welcome addition to the collection. The model is well packaged also for those who dont like to remove them from the box, they can look at the picture on the side. All in all, will gladly put it in the cabinet with the Biante, no more hiding the Classics in the back in the dark.
Happy to see that more people will be able to collect their favorite drivers and teams with a good, high quality model.
