You sure its circa 1982???:p If its been made, there must be 1 available eventually. Patience and perseverance.
I have been toying (pardon the pun) with the idea of continuing the F1 collection to include 1 example of every grand prix car year since 1904.

I think they are GREAT models, esp. as they are of the dawn of the motoring history.
Try to get the S series of Brumm as they are the rarer versions instead of the R ones.
When people are selling them, most of the time they are the same price, but they are much more exclusive!

Just to show which brand has some history dating back to the dawn of motoring civilisation and not some "johnny come lately" "now that you have engineered all the hard bits and shown the world how it is done"
FORD= First ON Research & Development! Hehe!

I think the Brumm models, in particular the older Grand Prix cars, look fantastic, I usually only collect the Brumm Le Mans cars, but seeing those has made me want to collect them too....... :)

There is a model swapmeet on this Sunday in Cannington Grey hounds front building on Albany Hyway (the usual place) and hopefully I will be able to go there quickly to have a quick browse before catching yet another silver bird.
I'll have some gear to sell on me as well if I have enough time.
There should be a fair few BRUMM models for sale there.
I always get the S series if there are any left that is!

Is that a special edition of a certain race? USA??
There is another one of that year #R35 which has not got the white. same race # 34, and another of my fav's.
R69, the D216, briefly owned by a local WA Race driver and later sold to the Museum in Donnington! after the V8 engine was installed.
R127,A recent issue: Ferrari D50, "the whale" with the side tanks, love a model in 1/18 of it.

that is a Gran premio di Modena 1951
The 34 car with the white stripe was Kurt Adolph (privateer) at the 1953 Germania GP.
My 1957 Fangio Germania Maserati 250F has been converted into the French version because Brumm stuffed up the front section. The yellow only goes half way around the front nose section not all the way around. The 1954 version No: 26 is a Renaissance's kit of the Belgium GP.http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y56/turn8/Mode ls/DSCN7205.jpg
