Don't forget the book 'Bathurst - Great Race' No 22 has just been released by Chevron also (Late December), a lot earlier than usual.

Also the V8Supercar 2002 Yearbook is due around March. This will cover the past 6 years also, remember they stopped the Racing Yearbooks in 1995.

So this one will pick up where they left off, I assume it will cover the Australian V8s only whereas the previous yearbooks covered all motor sports.

Both are $77.00

(BTW I am missing some Bathurst books from the early 1990s If someone knows where they are PLEASE EMAIL ME)

Thanks TIMBO,

I picked up some Motor Racing Yearbooks at half price from Dick Johnsons place the other day.

I also got The Rats AU drivers door from Oran Park whilst there.

Most automotive book shops are pretty expensive but I have picked up a lot over the past two years or so.

Not many to go...

What are you going to do with the door??

Is it in good nick or smashed up?

I don't know what i'll do with it, it seemed like a good idea at the time:p

The door is in really good condition, has one deep scratch about 6cm x 0.5cm long and a slight indent and a little bit of tyre markings, otherwise pretty good.

There is no glass, mirror or handle. ALL DJR PANELS were half price, the front doors were $150 on special.

All panels come with a signed Dick Johnson certificate stating the race the panel came from and driver.

When i was taken into the workshop up to the storage area there were not many doors available, my mate went down and said there was not much left, he got the rear quarter panel with the VB sticker and double fuel inlets on it.

I was surprised how little damaged was on some of the panels, i thought they would fix them, but much easier it appears to replace them and sell them later.

You can put your name down on a waiting list if you want a door with Number 17.

The front spoilers/bar are very popular also, there is a waiting list for those as people use them at home and install lights behind the headlights and put them on a wall or bar.

Geez....................I thought I collected some weird stuff!!

Each to their own.

I think a front end with lights installed would look great though!!!!!

Draging up an old thread I know but I have a question.

The V8Supercar 2002 Yearbook mentioned above, was it ever published and released. I can not find any information on it anywhere.

Any info or help would be appreciated.

http://www.sammedia.com.au/ or http://www.v8yearbook.com/

the book looks like it will be released this year, see the link above.

I believe that Chevron, who releases the Great Race annuals and yearbooks upto the last one printed in 1995 were going to do a 10 year V8 book but did not eventuate.

I wonder if anyone will ever fill in the gap left from 1996 to 2003 inclusive
