At 1/10th of the price of a 1:18, you cant go wrong. It all comes down to - the 1:18 has far more detail, with opening doors, boot, bonnet and detailed engine bay. Also the signed coa by Peter Brock. I guess you also have to consider the fact that if you have all 1:18 scale models, is the 1:43 going to look out of place?

probably would look out of place - that's why i'm not sure whether it's worth it... could have a crack at an a9x code 3.... but i haven;t finished my VT yet so...

Just leave it in its case and put it somewhere it can never look out of place its a 1:43 scale model of 1 of the most iconic road based touring cars to ever hit a race track..

mmm we'll see. I'm kind of thinking maybe CC will do one in the future.. they did the VK?

I guess, if CC do the A9X in the 1:18 scale in the future "Great". If they don't, the Brock Biante models are not going to get cheaper. If you are prepared to take the risk and wait, but keep in mind that if it is not reproduced then the A9X could cost you alot more.

Just my own personal opinion but i think the biante, autoart 1;43 models appear to be a more accurate representation of the real thing than the cc ones... not trying to start anything mind you...

Yep, gotta agree, the 1/43 Biante cars are exeptional in detail and quality, I think they are better than the Classics cars ....at the moment.

Bring on the 79 car. I can't wait.
Personally I think the timing is perfect to start a 1/43 Brock collection because there are so many cars of his just around the corner that were only available from Dinkums and way over priced. Plus the older Targa and Nations Cup models are still reasonably priced.

Was thinking about doing that BB, as I have all Brocks cars in 1/18 so far and thought having them in 1/43 would be pretty nice to have as well.... Still have not started it though.

spolyhronidis, I had it sitting here for a while & finally decided to watch it today. I enjoyed it & the little talk they have about the car in the extras is very good. Moffat has some fun looking over the car & stirring up Harve's & Sheppard. ;)
