I want a 1:18 scale model of a VP SS Sedan in Anthracite. I am sure that there are other VP SS owners out there that would like the same in their respective colours.
Let me know what you can do.
Thanks

So what do you guys think? I'm sure that this would be a great model. I realise that this is an older model car (91 - 93) but as the VL is released (Walky mainly) why not the hot VP?

Only time will tell. I suppose we'll just have to be a little patient.
If thats another word for Atlas Grey, then I want one too.

I think the VP 'SS' is one of the least exciting of the 'SS' series. The worst ones being the VR-VS. The VN 'SS' was a groungd breaker of the time and had a great look. Now the newer ones look good, but what about the older V series 'SS'. On the VP I think the Group 3A racecar that Perkins/Hansford drove to Bathurst in 1993 was one of the best looking racecars of the V8 period.

The VN SS may have been a ground breaker but from a point of view of a motor car compared to others, it was a dud. Noisy, notchy, the interior was very ordinary and the paint was sub standard. At a subsequent motor show I went to Holden and asked them whether the new model had fixed the VN problems and the guy was quite emabarrassed about it.
The only thing it had going for it was grunt. 5.0 and around 165kW from memory.
Funny how times have changed and 165kW let alone 200 is not much to rave about.
