A Liquidator/curator 'Mr. Phillip Long of the UK firm PKF, which specialicing in this sort of stuff has been apointed to wind up TWR ARROWS:) I hope that Tommo gets what he deserves .To speak with Monty Python; "He has been a very naughty boy"
The remains of this F1 team is now for sale at a Firesale and I would not be supprised if Volkswagen /AUDI will eventualy come out as the owner and for a bargain price. Tommo has been led astray for a long time starting with a Dark Knight who promissed everything enjoyed all the fruits and left with out paying (T-MINUS) ARROWS A20 1999. It went downhill (Damon HILL) from there to where Walkingslow tripped (Verstappen) meaning tripping in Dutch) and went with out friends (H.H. Frentzen) all the way to having to drive a crumpledore povertypack :D
Well done tom ;How to make a million, start tom in a buissness with a Billion.

FF, Be careful what you write, I think you will find that TWR is still very healthy and Tom is along way from driving a Comodore, and by the way what wrong with Commodores. Don't you have a lanos or something like that.

Whatever the cockroache cannot destruct ,tom might be able to.
he took on the big boys in carracing and did not make it.
He waisted indeed a lot of $$.
I am glad that you enjoy the Supercars and I do enjoy the great models that are constantly being produced by the Biante team
I also ,like you, enjoy an occasional fishing sojurn:D
VW/Audi F1 team?
On my Le mans 2000 video, they say the Audi R8's engine sounds like a F1 engine while the Panoz sounds very V8ish.
Since the factory Audi Le mans team has withdrawn from the 2003 Le mans 24 hour, thier drivers will go to the OTHER Audi team- Bently,It's mostly a Audi R8 with a Bently chassy on top.
This means Audi's factory boys would be preparing thier 2004 F1 cars if they buy Arrows.
Toyota withdrew thier Le man team to focus on thier F1 car preperation. This may be the same with Audi.
Who will drive the Audi 2004 cars?Tom Kirstinsin(he's gpoing for Le mans number 5 this year)?

I don't think you can say that Audi are getting into F1 because of the sound of their R8 engine. It is a high revving V8, high tech, highly tuned engine. Of course it is going to sound like a race engine (F1 engines are V10 though).
The Panoz engine (basically) began life as a NASCAR donk and anyone that has heard it will agree that it has a real 'old school' V8 note to it.
Although it does look inevitable that Audi will enter F1 eventually (even more so since the Lemans program has transferred to Bentley) it is really not possible to make assumptions going on the sound of their engines and a few comments made back in 2000.
You never know, they may be developing a S3 WRCar. After all, they have heaps of history in rally and the rally cars can provide a direct link for promotional purposes to the quattro road cars.
I will be content to sit back and not jump to delusions, oops sorry, conclusions.
Audi coming back to rallying?
Hopefully they'll have a factory team in WRC.

FF, Just thought I would upset you a little, Tom and TWR are very much alive and well, infact you will be reminded even more from now on as TWR is also the main joint venture partner of Holden By Design (HBD) and this year it is ecpected that 4 out of ten cars leaving the lot will have been fitted with the HBD after market gear, so not only do you have to look at HSV's winning on the road, HRT winning on the track you can also be reminded of how big TWR is everytime you see the HBD badge on most Holden Models.
Cheers Glenn
HBD are run inside the HSV factory.I've seen them doing up Astras,Barinas and S Commodores.
At Heartland Holden before Oran Park last year,I saw someone there who had thier Astra taken to HBD and he got Skaife/Bright/R Kellys autographs under his bonnet.

Audi back in F1, bring it on!!!!
Though i doubt that this will happen it would be a great PR event!!!!
Anyone know how to put Peugeot in liquidation....hopefully citroen add some competition to rallying....otherwise it will go the same way F1 has, and V8 is going.....boring and predictable. Don't get me wrong though, while the wrc cars look cool. the V8 road cars look heaps better than the new rex.......
Especially from the rear vision mirror!!!!!

Aussie; It is not upsetting to see any australian product do well!
What has been dissapointing is the mayhem that Tom singlehanded has created in F1 and the aftershocks this has created with the moneyflow into F1b being slower to the independant teams (Jordan,Minardi and Sauber)
Tom has been an reckless administrator or M.D at least to do this.
Going into a deal with a Very shady African and then trying to diddle a BIG German bank out of their money!!!!!! Russian Roulette is more predictable.
The person who actualy got the Bankrupcy validated is H.H. Frenzen with Jozz the Bozz waiting for his chance as well ,but was not needed.
Ford is still persuing Tom personaly and with the cloud they have ,I am putting my coins on the very likely winner FORD Motor Company subsidary; Cosworth.
Yibardy, Yibardi ,thats all Folks and thanks for your attention:cool:
