G'day all,
I've been trying to post my pics of the 83 DJR XE Falcon that I won in Finishline but I'm still having trouble.

I have managed to reduce the image below 500x500 but when I go to attached a file to a post it says it there, but when I try to view the new post there is no where to view the supposly attached image.

I have a feeling that the image is not being sent when I tell the web page where the image is.

Could someone who has done this successfully please share with me how they did it, as the simple ways on the bottom of a post page appear not to be working in this case - most likely a user fault, but any help / suggestion would be more than welcomed.

cheers.

Brad.

All you need to do is click on the browse button, go through your files and double click on the file you wish to post. Then the full address is shown in the 'Attach file' section under your reply.

Then click 'Submit Reply' and the post will come up.

After that all there is left to do is wait for Admin or I to validate the attachment.

Just like the attachment here.

Richard,

Haven't you got any secret photos stashed on your PC of up-coming models that you could have used instead..... LOL.

:D

What better pic than the King of the mountain ,on the mountain with hisw favourite companions of the animalworld.
I do have this picture ,framed and in a prominent place in my little kingdom.
Good on ya Richard, can you make some pics of certain models so I can get them posted on this forum?

Brad,

As well as making the image 500x500 pixels, make sure it is less than about 100kB in size.

I tried to post an image a couple of weeks ago which was bigger than 100kB, and it dropped off without telling me, even though it was less than 500x500 pixels. The largest image I ended up posting was 84kB (in the Goodwood thread).

Regards.

Thanks Richard,
It appears that I was doing everything right, I just was expecting the pic to work instantly. I hope you don't mind me posting some pics of my prize - I'll try not to post too many !!!
cheers,
BRAD.
