just wondering who and how it is decided what models are manufactured..
and also how is it decided when it comes to team cars ie: 95 Brock Bathurst VR has been released, but not a 95 Lowndes Bathurst VR, who decides if this is a goer or not (being it is a similar car/livery)
same with the Brock 94 VP, will a Lowndes Bathurst VP be made also etc etc...
just curious..
Cheers guys

I can answer the Bathurst Skylines question.....Apparently they were not released in 1/64 as at the time the 1/18 & 1/43 were released the available 1/64's where not up to scratch ;)

Does popularity have anything to do with it?
Obviously, the diecast company's want their models to sell and making a popular car would do that rather than making one that no one wants. And I'd imagine that models with the same moulds would also be done sooner than later.

That is a big part of it. Also just how many variants that can be made from the one mould.
