Don't know if those who wanted it, managed to get a copy of the Farewell poster in the Sun......So here is one, cleaned up as best I could....Got rid of a fair bit of the print showing from behind, but gave up as there is too much !...and decided it looked OK for me....Reckon they could have done it on gloss paper...:o

I'd really love to, but I'd have to get Mark's approval and deal with his management so I've been informed.
I can almost gaurentee his print would not be the usual price !
I don't need to risk my rep by doing unauthorized Skaife prints.
I may do one, but in very limited numbers, possibly as a giveaway only or Biante VIP...we'll see.
This is in stark contrast to GT, who has three of my prints hanging at his work, which he offered to pay for !!! LOL.
He also signed a shedload for me to use at Charity events and give aways...top bloke.
Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Perhaps next time then I should get you to get GT to sign my photo's then as he ruined the last ones he insisted on writing my name on them with his autograph.....:(
I can understand the why, it just pisses me off immensely to the point where I'm not going bother with the expense to frame and display it as in my mind it's now ruined.
You can blame that on all the people that just want signatures to make a profit. Like with everything it's the people like you that suffer because of selfish idiots.
I don't mind my name on it so much as long as they don't plaster it all over the item (ie rick kelly's signature haha)

WhenI got my Todd Kelly print from Pete signed, Todd wrote my name on it, but on a dark part of the print, so you couldn't really tell from a distance that is was written there

Skaifey on the other hand wrote "Thomas Cheers, Mark Skaife."
Either way, it didn't bother me as I love them both and I'd never sell them.
Cheers,:)

Did you get him to sign it last year??
If so....I got mine signed when he was with HRT.....they might have a policy stating the drivers have to write to..... on photo's & prints/posters

I never thought of that. So, if it were a Jack Daniels print, he would have had to write my name on it right?
Anyway, like I said in my post, I'm not fussed either way. I quite like the personal ones actually.

Maybe?......or maybe JDR don't bother with asking for names full stop...

These two things don't go hand in hand...i can tell you.
To be honest, im lazy.
I couldnt be assed chasing Skaifey for approval and all that, not worth it really....im guessing the prints would be closer to $100 signed...
That's not what im about...i like to sell them as cheap as I can, without putting a hole in the misses bank account, and get them out to the people who really want them...
I toyed with the idea of doing a very small print run, but then when the guys go get him to sign them, he'll again ask where the prints came from...
Best to let it go..i dont need the hassle to be honest.

Fully understand mate sometimes its better to let things lie ;)has had a few moments with mr skaife with some very hard to get items and it was like being interragated by the serbian secret police and ive thought afterwards maybe not really worth the hassles just noice to own it sometimes its enough:D

Thats a real shame...
I had the luxury of having him one on one with no pressure, so it makes it a lot easier to get stuff signed properly...and these were 100% for charity.
I too understand why they write names on owners photos/prints , but I cant see Garth doing that type of thing on purpose. I just dont think he's like that...

Yeah ive never had any dramas with garth signing couple of times mark has been a bit funny but luckily i knew one of the guys that worked security on the pits for them and he helped when we went to 05 bathurst my wife (have to give her the credit) took 4 awesome shots of the winners podium with champagne spraying and the trophies etc took them the next year as im going to frame them up in a big frame and he was quite sus on it but after much assuring he signed them only for us so very happy camper here but my lazy ass still hasnt got round to framing em yet :D:D
