bonnet on ht 1/18 scale...

hey guys,

just got my ht monaro 1/18 scale, those of you that have also got this model, tell me, does your bonnet stay up? mine doesnt! i emailed biante and they said thay are all like that, i.e. bonnet doesnt stay open. let me know if anyone else has the same prob.

After several trys to make the bonnet stay up with no success I presummed it was not to be. A bit dissapointing.

I was just wondering why the bonnets have the little bump on the hinge? on all the other cars this is what keeps the bonnet up. the bump on the HT is just that little bit too short to work. still i just ise a piece of wire to hold it up

yeah i think they overlooked this at quality control stage, mind you, the boot stays up! have to wait and see if the HG has the same prob. This topic I started might sound trivial to some, but hey, why not be able to display the 350 chev in all its glory!!!!
