If anyone is interested Kayne Scott (ex TKR) has just won the Championship by 6 points. Last to first in the final reverse grid race to clinch the title.

The NZ v8s are dead unless they do something about the woeful parity. majority of Holden runners didn't bother turning up this season and i don't blame em.

But yay Scott.

I don't think it's about parity. IMO Holden just doesn't have enough good drivers. There's only Paul Manual and Andy Booth. Who else is there? That angry little man Andrew Anderson?? :p:laugh4:

Well when they start using the VE maybe something will happen.

Well they used to have Kayne Scott, but Mark Petch swapped to the Coon because... the Holdens weren't fast enough. I remember the Holden runners bleating on severely about the advantages the Falcons had

Dude, when Angus Fogg is winning, you know somethings up with the parity. that'd be like Patrizi winning in the aus v8s. :p

Lees right, they've complained for something like 4 years and NZ v8s have done nothing.... as far as im concerned the series is dead.

Kayne Scott asked for parity for a long time and nothing happened so he had to change camps to have a chance. I am sure Andy Booth must be thinking of going the Ford way next season to have a chance. If he does the series will be in trouble if its not already.

Makes it all the more sweeter that kiwi's are the quickest two drivers around Bathurst :p

As i said before, I'm sure that when they FINALLY introduce the new car, it'll be tight again. Plus some decent drivers might go back to Holden.

And what's wrong with Angus Fogg Si? :p I don't think he's that bad actually :o
