View Full Version : 1:18 VN commodore models ?
Hi,
Just wondering if and when some VN models might be made ? (1:18 scale)
The VN GRP A in particular (both road and Brock race versions), but also VN road cars like the SS
Any updates on the likelyhood of making these models ?
I'm sure there would be no doubt these would be very popular
Cheers :)

I think we will see it in the next 24months. With the VK and now the VL out, its only a natural progression.

You can buy Herpa models of the Opel Omega which look exactly like the VN in HO scale. Yes they are a lot smaller than what you want, but if you're a fan of the car it's a good start! Also a good platform for a miniaturised code 3.

I would hope if they do make the vn they are put together better than the 1:1 they were pieces of junk literally falling apart, and the engines in them were old hat already..

I dont know about that sleepy, up until about 2 years ago if you wanted to win Summernats Horsepower Heros, the old vn grp a motor was the only thing in there with a chance. I'm pretty sure that Eddy Tassone ended up with about 1500 hp, which aint bad for a production block AND heads.
Finally a VN SS grp A - I've been waiting ages for this news http://www.biante.com.au/product_24981.htm
How many will be produced ? Both the road version and Brockies race car ?
Will there be a black version sometime in the future ? (made for a Bathurst promo) I want both colours
Will you be making the standard VN SS commodore ? (I'd like a Pheonix red one)
If they were all made and ready for sale tomorrow I'd buy each of those first thing in the morning :)
Thanks Biante :)
