V8s in regonal area

Not sure about anyone else, but I have been watching the F1 telecast waiting for the V8s but it seems like if you don't live in the metro area you don't qualify, you go out and buy the new gear so you get Dig and HD telecast and still cant watch it! seems like its only on One HD

I rang and told them how I feel, so if anyone has the same issue and want to let them know, the number for Southern cross ten is : 0262422400 and leave a msg (remember more flies with honey!) and the they give you a toll free number where you can talk to a receptionist who will take your info and pas it on.

I found some good info on this on this site. Something about SC HD Ten being very slow. Only showing the demo channels in regional area's until they update there gear.
Like you I'm pissed that I can't see anything telecast ed on HD Ten (except for gardens, rivers, forests etc)

Yeah tell me about, We won't be getting Ten HD at all, This is after they've been advertising it down ere in Tassie for the last few months, But we still get one live and one delayed AFL match, mind you they're the same game but a quarter behind and they're on both TDT and Southern Cross, But what do you do they don't seem to care at all, Bloody AFL :(

Not trying to rub salt in the wound, (rather trying to give you guys more ammo) but we get OneHD on Ch1 in HD and Ch12 in SD.

Surely SC could broadcast in SD? Or is the issue that they don't have multiple channels?

The sooner the government mandates switching off the partial analogue signal and boosting the partial digital signal to full, the sooner these issues will be resolved:mad:

I think its pathetic, all that advertising freeview ads what a scam!!! we have to wait til mid year at the earliest for one HD...... not good enough
