i know they are big with nascar fans in the states, whats everyones opinion on seeing team transporters in the biante range, 1:43 would be good, but a 1;18 scale of the mighty HRT b-double would be awsome!! or even avesco's v8 supercar rig wolud be cool.
suppose the prices in 1:18 would be high thou.
any thoughts?

The current 1/43rd F1 team transporters by Eligor retail for $200.00 to $250.00 depending on year and team, they are big enough 1/18th would be too big.

I have 4 and they make a great display especially with the two team cars by its side. Early last year Biante did state that they were looking at doing something with trucks as we were all complaining about the CC ones being 1/64th scale not 1/43rd as advertised.

1:43 scale transporters for the teams would be a great addition to one's collection. The cars sitting next to / inside or being loaded would look great in amoungst the displays of our collections.

There's a italian company that makes 1/24 kits of trucks for Rally, Motorbikes and a couple of others. the rally ones come with a 1/24 model of the car, usually by tamiya- i've seen one for the Subaru and Mitsubishi. With the motobike i saw, the red bull team, it came with a diecast model of the bike. I'd love to see a 1/43 of some of the rally teams myself, but i wouldn't complain if the rally rigs were an extension of V8's. Perhaps they could also have service areas?
With Bourne competing in the Group N championship they could release the car plus service area? how cool would that be?!

Many of you have probably seen these, but i am aware of 4 shops which i visit regualrly around brisbane and gold coast which have 1:24 scale rigs. One shop in particular has a couple ( standars is white) which have been painted up exactly like pirtek rigs, 00 motorsport and shell helix. Seeing these trucks on a bench with a 1:18 car next to them looks great. To buy a truck plain is around $170 & painted up is around $230. I am considering buying one and have my sign writer freind airbrush one for me.
