G'day guys, i have had a look at coles and have found the season 6 up but cant seem to find seasons 1-5 in shops, has anyone else seen these as i havent yet

Picked up the five RARE Homers today.
there are 20 figurines + 5 rare figurines, not all the boxes are the same, very frustrating trying to get the set. Had to visit a couple of stores.

There bubble bath bottles (plastic). The heads unscrew, which is the lid. :D
They stand approx. 10" tall

I've only got the Leon Kompowsky figurine from the Micheal Jackson episode...was one of my most memorable episodes where they did make a figurine of so for $2.50 I figured why not might be worth somthing some day, who knows.

Plopper wasn't released in the general release.

He's a special one for the large box sets.
Like the gold figurines in past box releases.
Although I thought they would of put the rare homers in the box sets.

No, i was quite young then and didn't really take it seriously. On another note i saw at the clothing store Jay Jays, a shirt with Comic Book guy on the front and the captions "Worst T-shirt ever!"
Thought that was quite funny.

and The Sunday Telegraph (NSW) had the card board figurines.

I'm not sure how you would get one but the Sunday Mail and Advertiser (from SA mate;)) are releasing a set of stick-ems Simpsons collectors thingo's. From the ad, it looked like there was about 15 or so characters which are kinda of in 3d, but you can stick them to stuff and it all comes in a collectors album. I'll try and find a pic of it all later.

I had no problems, I just had to buy something.
So I bought a cold coke (hot day) and asked if I could buy the set, no worries 2.20 each piece (4 pieces in the set) plus they gave the little promo thing that sits on the counter.
I'd try a different store and see how you go.

When they had the general release of the figurines, the rare Homers were randemly put into boxes, say 1 in every 4 boxes had a rare Homer in it. The rare one were selling on fee-bay for around 20.00 each or the five of them 70 - 100.
This release has all characters from the series + the five rare Homers.

The rods came with a lure, which was Blinky the three eyed fish from the show.
I don't know if that would work, it might freak a fish or two out.

Cheers I won the exact same thing in a comp 4 or 5 years ago in a kids magazine called CRASH. It was a simpsons comp and you had to draw a pic of what you'd find in the ponds outside the powerplant. My entry was a 4 eyed frog.:o
Anyway, I've used it 2 or 3 times but never the Blinky lure.
