People love to see the old racers still slipping and sliding through the turns and thundering down the straights and it brings back memories of the 'golden years' of Australian Motorsport.
yes...great news....
have you negotiated screening rights with ten/foxtel for the benefit of less fortunate punters?

We will have an image up during next week on "Advance Orders" for a Limited Edition model to commemorate the series sponsorship. It will be item B182003A.
I know you can't say anything about this yet, but any chance of telling what scale it will be?

Also I wonder what car make/model it will be... so many great cars in the Historics. When I went to Oran Park last year on the Saturday I had more fun watching these guys coming onto the straight than the V8s :D Good to hear the Historics will be back and even better being sponsored by BIANTE!

Good one Road Runner. Maybe, like some V8 Supercar teams, Biante could have a competition for members to win a passenger seat ride for a few laps in one of their sponsored cars with one of their guest drivers. Imagine going around with Brocky in the XU-1 for a few laps. Fantastic! Worth a thought.

There is ,like in the eastern states ,here in the good old WEST a big following and participation of the old Hysterics racing and rightfully so, more and more enthusiast are taking interest.
Great series to get involved in even as a teammember or helperouter, as the people that are associated with it are there for only one reason; They like MOTORSPORT and not just the glamour.
great to see that Admin is maybe doing something as his passion is clearly MOTORSPORT.
Biante will be fielding a car in the series.
Who's the guest drivers?
John Goss,Peter Brock,Allan Moffat,Dick Johnson,Kevin Bartlett,Geoghagan bros,Bruce Mcphee,Colin Bond,Fred Gibson,Bob Jane,Harry Firth,Bo Seton,Bob Morris,John French,Doug Chivas???????????
Will the National Group C's be a support race at Bathurst this year?If so,why don't Biante enter the #2 falcon from the 1-2 finich and get Jackie Ickx to race it?
Besides the V8's last year,I found the historics the next best thing to watch-better than that MG one make stuff.

As this proposed model shares a similiar designation to the forthcoming Greens-Tuf XE, could we expect this to be of 1:18 scale from the Biante Classics stable.

Gee I hope to these thing come to Phillip Island with the V8's in April.
Last week, I saw a yellow Mustang fastback (looked like Bullitt) lapping the island in low 1min 50sec last week & it looked & sounded awesome.
But what was even better, was that there were 2 new Nations Cup GT-3 (which looked like they were being run in) & this Mustang blew them off down the Gardner Straight like they were standing still.
Turely aresome !!!!
cheers.

Who does remember the BIG Yellow CAMARO (from Perth:D ) racing around the Bathurst track with the whole of the side of the car taped up and still winning ?
This driver is also competing in the USA/Australia speedway series.
Together with his brother they have som pretty inpressive toys and they play HARD
I hpoe you read this admin,
I went to the GT Nattionals yesterday and got a few things signed by Leo Geoghagan,I told Leo about Biantes sponsership of the National Historics and that there'd be some of his old rivals having drives in a Biante sponsered Historic car.
Leo's replay was"Well I hope Biante invite me to drive thier car".

CAMS should go back to Production touring cars rather than Building 500k V8 Super Cars which cost mega bucks to run & then if a team devises a part that wil give an edge that PARITY word raises its head. With all the talk of keeping costs down by having brakes/shocks/ etc all the same where's the racing? Give me Historics anyday & yes I've contaced Redmax/Trackside producers who claim there is not enough interest from sponsors to produce a reasonable program rather than 30 secs.
Apparently they are catering to the pre teen to early 20's market, not those with the cash to spend
