Hey Tumbo, you have been very quiet in the buying/converting of 143 rally cars. Too much studying?

This is another easy one for me.
My favourite 1:43 would have to be the 1992 Skaife?richards Bathurst winner as seen below on my Dio.
And my favourite 1:64 is either my 1990 Bathurst winner or my 78 Bathurst winner.

Like everyone else, it's difficult to choose a single car. My shortlist include the Minichamps 1998 "Naked Lady" Porsche 911 GT2, Minichamps 1998 "Loctite" McLaren Longtail & Biante's 1976 Bathurst Winner, but I've really been bitten by the Transporters bug and this one's my favourite - love the shape, the colour and the detail :

Its a beauty, thats the Minichamps isn't it?

I have 2 of the Corgi versions but haven't had a chance to buy that one yet.

I have a Ferrari Transporter from the 50's which is nice too

This one is by Spark - I don't think Minichamps have produced any transporters to date, but Spark have produced 5 or 6 - two versions of the 1960's Lotus transporter, the 1970 "Matra" transporter, the 1973 "Gulf" Mirage / Porsche transporter plus the above 1961 Ecurie Ecosse transporter just to name a few.

I wish somebody would make a v8 supercar transporter, hopefully to the same quality as the one above.

I wish somebody would make a v8 supercar transporter, hopefully to the same quality as the one above. There already is mate.;) Theres a DJR Transporter and another ford one but I forgot what it is. I don't think they are as good quality as Franklin mint but they still look pretty cool.

To me it looks more accurate than the Minichamps i.e the body is not as square. As it's a much much newer casting, quality looks light years ahead;)

Will try and get a pic.

But not 1:43 scale. They are 1:24 or 1:32 from memory.

CC made two 1/43??? transporters, DJR and FPR but the quality was poor. Eligor make good F1 transporters but not near the quality of the Franklin Mint. My second favourite 1/43 is my Premium ClassiXXS Martini Transporter, also great quailty and detail, a bit of theme here I think!

I've got an Eligor 1:43 Toyota F1 transporter from 2002 and was terribly disappointed. No detail at all. Overpriced too.

Those Spark transporters are fantastic.
