Poor.True but to be honest it looks like the parts are just cast up and there is no actual machining so really it depends on how much paint is on the bits as to weather the door sags or not. i may be wrong and part of the hinge may be drilled then it could come back to how blunt the drill was or wasnt and then how much paint,if the bits were larger nylon bushes could be fitted but they are a tad fiddly for that lol..i think we just have to roll with the punches some are perfect some not so perfect...

All of the manufacturing fault arguments aside, and whether or not they are normal; shouldnt these defects been disclosed to the buyer? Its not as if they are easily missed. I doubt you would have paid what looks to be top dollar if you had been aware of these flaws. JMHO. I'd definately be following this up regardless of the fact blue-tak will fix the door sag. And the missing lug from the Sierra. Well, not sure what to say.

Likewise I'd like to say model_mad (Ash), sprint666 (Scott) and Richard have been fantastic. Great gear as described and the smallest faults are mentioned so no nasty surprises like eBay. Waiting on something from MRFOON at the moment but sure that will be AOK.

On the other side of the coin 8hype, like the original post of the thread, I don't know how it would work actually outing the members who send rubbish without actually doing everything you can to seek some sort of solution and even then a name and shame is very thin ice.

Hey, good idea for a thread.:) Well, I bought my most recent model off Daniel (UNDFTD) as posted in the most recent model purchased thread and it was the best packed I've ever seen. Nearly took me half an hour just to get into the thing with its many layers of bubble wrap and tape.
And, postage was very quick (only 3 working days). So overall, he's very highly recommended.:)

I'm a member of other forums where theres a trading thingo on everyones profile and you can either choose positive or negative feedback to be displayed when you buy something off someone. I guess it'd give members a better sense of security when they're buying diecasts of forum members.

I know some more recent versions of vBulletin have what I think are called "iTrader" points that work much like the feebay feedback system. Whether or not it could / would be implemented here is another thing.

Probably not want you want to hear mate but my XC coupe and Xd have the sagging/opening doors. They came out of the box that way brand new...spewing !! I just use a tiny bit of blue tac and it works a treat.

What is the issue with your Sierra ?? If you are not happy with it and want to sell it on let me know. It is hard to see a fault in the pic and without another model near me.

Trying to deal with XU 123, have sent emails and posted on thread, a absolute time waister.
The same thing happened last year, got as far as getting postage cost and that's it.
