I have received the model today (from Japan).
It is something different but not so much because it is connected to name P. Brock. But this is the other P. Brock, from USA, the designer of the famous Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe and also the owner of BRE (Brock Racing Enterprises).
As for the real car, it was driven by John Morton and with this car he won the SCCA Championship in C-production category in 1970 and 1971.
As for the model, yes, it is a nice model. Below are some pictures.

Anyone who buys this model thinking its got anything to do with Peter Brock doesn’t deserve to have one…

And yes its a very nice model. Now all we need is the 510 in 1:18.

Hey there Lazard, that's a great addition. It's a model that has been asked about here on Biante but won't be seen in Australia for a few months yet.

What are your thoughts on the model? You said it was a "nice model" but are you happy with the quality and detail? have Kyosho upped the detail on their base moulds to justify the release of a new car - a BRE car at that? The BRE stable have a core following and fanbase in the US.

Me? I'd love a 1:18 BRE510...... Until then, my 1:43 Ebbro version will have to suffice.

At least you have the 1:43 Andrew, I don't have any :( Yet....

I am and live in Central Europe and I bought it from Japan. But the final price would be about the same if I wait and buy it when it is available here. And it is limited edition of 3000 pieces (mine is 175). Therefore, do not wait!

I have only the Z432-R by Kyosho to compare it but now I am not at home to have both the models in my hands and write the differences. But it seems to me that there are only small differences and no extra upgrade was done in the BRE. The BRE is LHD an my Z432-R is RHD. There is additional front spioler in the BRE and it has also differnt exhaust system and wider wheels with different rims. But unfortunately, the brake discs are not moving together with the front wheels (back wheels have drum brakes), i.e., no upgrade. I did not looked in details into the engine bays of both the models to say if there is a difference or not. Sorry. The fitting of all parts in the BRE is perfect and its overall stance is very nice. That is all what I can say now.

It is me again, now from my home. I have checked the engine bay and it is completely different from the Z432-R and KPGC10 2000 GT-R. The engine in BRE is turned along longitudial axis of the car, same as in AA Toyota 2000 GT. It makes a sence because 2000 GT was born before 240Z and KPGC10 2000 GT-R and therefore BRE "takes" engine from Toyota (you knw that 2000 GT, 240Z and 2000 GT-R have the same engine). But there are difference in the engines (in models) in BRE and AA 2000 GT.

No its a 1600!!! Smarty.

The chassis numbers in the states are PL510 so this one would be a PL510.

Pete Brock was a race driver/owner in the USA. Owned the Bre racing team which ran a few different model Dattos. No relation to Peter Brock here.

Biante Site say Development Approved??? As the model exists, should it not say "In Transit" or something other? or have I missed something??
