Hi all, am fairly new to the forums and am looking for some advice on how to fix a couple of 1/18 models in my collection. First of all I've got a Biante Lowndes HRT 2000 model with a droopy front left door - I also have a Lowndes/Skaife one from the same era with a droopy rear door. Along with that I've got a a Skaife '06 Biante model with a loose rear spoiler - one of the supports has come unstuck (actually looks like both supports have already been re-glued once in the models life). Would be keen to know what would be the best way to go about fixing these problems without damaging paintwork or breaking things etc
Thanks, Patrick.

The usual quick fix for door sag is a small bit of bluetack underneath the inside of the door just for a little lift. As for the spoiler, use modellers (not supa) glue. Remember, less is more.
This is a good thread http://forums.biante.com.au/showthread.php?t=11665&highlight=repairs or use the forum search for more results. Good luck!

Thanks for that Damage...thought the door droop may have been caused by a loose screw or so...will give what you suggested a try.

I stacked my Old XYGTHO's upside in there boxes for over a year, saggy door problem gone ;) for a year I guess lol.
The door saggy is a issue on a few older cars, the weight of the door V's hinges strenth is a battle.

lol @ RR, whatever works mate, good on ya! I think its caused by lack of support in packaging (also during transit) and the main killer and enemy of all models (including human ones), gravity and time :D. I think the door's hinges are pressed pins not screwed in, I could be wrong about that though. Its a common trait among many models but you really see it with race cars because the livery doesnt line up. Can be very annoying to look at.
