I dont collect the 1:43's my oldest daughter does and i have to say i like the new coa's and how they clip into the base so their not loose but then i spose it helps the thiefs because their together. I love the new look base plates also but i feel for the guys that dont like to get their cars signed as there isnt anywhere on the base to get signatures now

just noticed that the paint is starting to wear of already it was floating around in the box,but I like the idea of them and how they should clip into position under the bass to prevent this from happening other than that i think it's a pretty good idea.Is the same happening the 1:18 range aswell?

A little bit more thought or having ideas thrown around the forum would of been good. I get mine signed and put in an album. apparantly the front would be hard to sign but you can get it signed on the back. No good for me.:thumbsdown:

The COA's seem very inconsistent....a fancy new COA for the some models like the 1:43 Lowndes ATTC model but a very average COA with handwritten numbers (that has nothing in common with other Biante Legends COA's) for the 1966 Mini.

Why didn't the the Mini come with the new style COA ? ? ?

IMHO, hand written COA No's do a dis-service to the 'brand' and the 'quality' of the models involved.

I would venture to suggest that there are 2 possible causes;
Firstly, the Mini is a 'Spark' manufactured model.
Secondly, Biante are in the transition period of introducing the new style of COA's for 1:43's. Possibly some of the future releases may still have the old style COA's ?

I'm waiting to see what changes are in store for the 1:18's, if any?

The new COAs are pretty cool - but still an unnecessary production cost in my opinion. <ducks for cover from the COA lovers> ;)

Biante did show us the new packaging for 1:43s a few weeks/months ago:

id be happy with a sticker on the side that say 1/3000 or something, so away with the card alltogether. Now that its plastic, there is nowhere to have it signed really. Save the extra expense of the card manufacture.

For signatures, Biante included the backing card :rolleyes: I think Chris mentioned it somewhere before.

I like them :cool: Looks very upper-market. I wouldn't mind if the 1:18's moved a similar way.

What's all this "saving costs" when talikng about boxes and COA's?? I'd rather have them than a percentage of the 37 cent cost saving passed down thanks...

They better not change the certs again. they can not even keep on sive in the legend series and the DJ 1:18 some are a different red boarder and slightly different sizes.pretty poor when they are all together

Plenty of room on the "Card of Authenticity" for signatures.

They don't look too bad, quite professional compared to the earlier stuff...also means that copies will be next to impossible to make...

All right then, dont pass on the 37c. I dont need a card to know its authentic, that's the point I'm making. I dont look at the cards, so could easily live without them, now that their on the base I have less reason than ever to see them. Minichamps/Action models just press the number in the base or on the sticker. I don't see the card making it any more or less collectable.
