Driver Appearances at Biante Authorised Dealers

With round five of the Biante Touring Car Masters at this weekend?s Annual Muscle Car Masters, Biante have organised two driver appearances to get our collectors in the mood for a big weekend of racing at Sydney?s Eastern Creek.

This Thursday several of the stars of Australian Touring Car Racing will be visiting two of Biante?s Authorised Dealers to give you the opportunity to purchase a model, and grab an autograph and a have chat.

First of all, Bathurst Winner, Australian Touring Car Champion and V8 Supercar Hall of Fame member Colin Bond will be at Top Hat Quality Gifts in Campbelltown from 11 am.

Bond remains the only man to have won at Bathurst plus national championships in Touring Car racing and rallying. If it had four wheels and an engine, Bond could drive it to its full potential, with a calm almost relaxed approach to his profession.

Top Hat Quality Gifts will also be offering a 25% Discount on all Colin Bond Items in stock on the day, so be sure to get in store early, pick up a model and get an autograph from this Australian Motorsport legend.

The Biante road-trip then moves to Exclusive Collectables at Westfield Penrith, where five of the Biante Touring Car Masters drivers will make an appearance prior to the fifth round of the championship this weekend.

Touring car legends Jim Richards and John Bowe will join defending series champion Gavin Bullas, 2007 series champion Steve Mason and reigning Group 2 Champion Greg East from 6:30pm at Exclusives Penrith store.

Biante will be in attendance at this year?s Muscle Car Masters, with our very own Trackside Model Shop. Come in and see the latest releases from Biante and view a few of our pre-production samples that will be on display. Biante will also have the Biante Touring Car Masters Drivers signing autographs periodically throughout the weekend, so be sure to head to Eastern Creek this Saturday and Sunday, September 5 and 6 and visit the Biante Trackside Store, located just behind the Grandstand.

William, that sounds great with Biante getting behind the series and event and supporting some driver appearances. Unfortunatley for me I will not be arriving in Sydney until Saturday but will be sure to check out the Trackside Model Shop. I wonder if I will see a pre-production "09 Biante Historic Touring Car" model so that I can add it to the other six that I have ;)

Im sorry william yes its great to have these guys at the stores doing signings:D but im sick of these damn cockroaches getting all the fun when are we gunna see some action in queensland :mad: they cant even get a decent crowd to their footy games unless someone retires :p (what thats got to do with anythin i dunno but sounded good at the time lol) We just had the biante tourers here at QR and had no signing sessions anywhere other than the track Oh well my gripe over :rolleyes:

Well i did miss out on one signature that of john bowe on a poster for a certain person who was to star struck to do it himself (gee now who could that be supa????:o):p but yes with all the siggy's i got that weekend i needed 3 markers with almost every car,COA's,hats,posters and drivers cards now signed in my collection was avery successfull trip

Not to sure about that onfire you got bathurst and homebush this year. But in the past youve had eastern creek and oran park also. Yes we had 3 rounds this year with QR, Indy and townsville but lucky to have QR this year and not looking fantastic for next year and some doubt over the indy round also now. And sydney has muscle car masters this years legends race at indy is the closest thing weve had to that. ;) :)

Melbourne only has 1 race per year too, sydneysiders never supported E/C (apparently) i only went there twice but quite liked it.

Homebush should be a cracker Bruce, i used to love going to eastern creek and oran park with my old man, but those days are long gone, i wouldnt say the events weren't supported id say V8SC Australia should have advertised the events abit better

all we saw was afew billboards around oran park and eastern creeks surrounding areas advertising the events... and thats it

the Sydney 500 is getting HUUUGE advertising here at the moment, billboards on every corner and motorways, TV, Radio, i think my grandma even knows about it:p

they should have gone to these lengths for oran park and eastern creek and maybe we'd still have these races

The Gp is only a support event,non c/ship, winton is closer to NSW than Melb, Sandown is boring, although Phillip island is the best permanent track in Oz, so thats one thing i guess:)
