Soooooooo glad they got rid of that UGLY front bar off the E1, not a huge fan of the last minute use of the G8 bonnet, but front looks tops...

front looks good rear bar sedans is yuk, thank god we are getting thinking of getting a wagon although going by the looks of things I'm not sure whether the R8 tourer offers substancialy more then an SSV or Calais V wagon..

Rear bumper looks tacky with all the holes. But I like the front on the GTS :) Prefer the E1 overall though.

Don't like the front at all, or the wheels. Actually don't mind the rear.;) I agree Matt, the first E series was nicer.

Haha was just about to add that. They look hideous. Overall, not impressed, looks like an evolved Aurion.:(:(

Just my opinion, it's still a HSV, but think they could've done better.;)

The bonnet scoops look crap and all that black on the front of the GTS is also crap. I am glad I got a 2009 Maloo

Just had another look, and the R8 looks much nicer. Don't like the big black part on the GTS like the W427 and the chrome parts above the grille. The R8 looks cleaner, it's just the LED lights or wateva that stand out a bit much imo. The rest is pretty nice, looks tough.

I don't think the E2's look too bad.....but I would prefer if HSV took a more subtle approach like Jag, BMW, Merc, Audi etc's have done.

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I don;t think the GTs looks bad at all. The front reminds me of a Lancer Evo X (all that bacl and how it is shaped) and the rest of it looks, well, like a large sporting four door that screams 'look at me'. Which is okay if you are into that type of thing.

Those three spoke wheels are amongst the worst wheels I have ever seen.
Like the clubby wagon though. :cool:

Ha, yeah, well I just typed exactly what I thought. Although reading it now I should have checked it before hitting 'Submit'. My typos are so appalling that I am embarrassed. What I meant to say was (in English):

they stole the Audie LED's for the front too.. but not much of a change, think they are running out of ideas bringing the scoops back from the monaro?

saves people having to buy a new bonnet with scoops in it and having their insurance go up just for having a different bonnet

Remove the blackout from the front of the GTS, make it body colored, and it looks better. Have a look at a white R8 and you'll see what i mean.

You may find it is the fallout of Pontiac shelving the importation of the cars. Lots of leftover parts that Holden now have to some how get rid of.

can you turn the LED's off, otherwise I like the look of the front, not a fan of the rear bar, interesting that they feel the need to offer launch control on the manuals.....
