1:18 blower unit

Can anyone help me in the search for a 1:18 scale blower unit?
I want to fix one to an XY GTHO or maybe through the hood of my XB.i have a '70 Dodge Charger with it stickin out through the hood ,and i just love the way it gives the model a real muscle feel .

Hotwheels make 1:18 cars and some have blowers, and some have different attachments etc. they sell for about $50ish but if you can fnd a damaged one it should be a bit cheaper. other manufacturers may make hotted up cars that you can rip the engine out of. ill be looking for a 1:18 supercharger when the HQ comes out.

dinkles, i remember seeing a 1:18 1969 plymouth barracuda plastic model last year at yennora hobbies that had a bug catcher sticking out, unfortunatly they closed down because they got ram raided. im not sure who made it but i do remember that it was $35 and the motor was ready painted.

try buying a model makers magazine at the paper shop. they have all sorts of great tips for making your own replicas - ive seen engines made from oil pans and scoops from aircraft intakes.
