Corgi make a huge collection of model planes from WWII in 1:72 scale; Spitfires, Mustangs, Thunderbolts, Mosquito's, Hawker Hurricanes, Boeing B17 Bombers etc

You can see these at :- www.corgi.co.uk

(Go to the UK site and search under 'Aviation Archive')

A few months ago I was lucky enough to go to the UKs warbird show at Duxford, where they had all the models mentioned, and they look even better in the flesh than in photos. Just over from the model tents however were all the real things - 20 or so Spitfires and Mustangs, 3 Flying Fortresses, a Lancaster, Hellcats etc etc, all doing their thing.....If you're into that sort of thing you can get a video of the show as well!
