With the amount of detail that can go into one v8 supercar why is the wheel camber not looked at? I have had a close look at some v8's that get worked on down the road from my work and with that camber and stance on a model would look unreal.

i did a "quick" search but if its already been spoken about sorry.

Hey Tower,

Up until about 2005/2006, all CC models have camber - and it does make the car look so much better! (VY/VZ commodores e.g. 06 skaife/tander bathurst car, and all the BA falcons) They then got lazy and didn't put any one as it was extra research and cost and it changed every round or something ridiculous like that.

It looks like biante new v8supercars will have some camber. It's pretty impressive seeing it on the real car - and reallly adds to the overall model.

and also biante VS has camber - it doesn't look like their VT's - VZ's do though.

Gee, that positive camber on the rear wheel looks "realistic":p. So does the gap between the tyre and the top of the guard on all of those models.

I think the trade offs are significant. Few tracks require the massive negative camber that was portrayed on earlier CC models, and this resulted in those massive gaps on the front.

'70s & '80s Touring Cars ran on cross ply tyres, which required a lot less negative camber on the front wheels than the radial tyres they use now.
