Moffat Mustang (the red one) bonnet locks

Dose anyone know why the bonnet locks shown in the pictures on the box for the red moffat Mustang were not installed on the model , you would think for the money a simple detail that was so acurately done on the XW GT Falcon of Moffats (BIante) would have been included on the red mustang,curious to know why not.

The Moffat mustang to my knowledge was made by 'Welly' and was originally based on a lowish priced model and imported by a company who cashed in big time and sold theses models for $299 where as other guys who contribute to this forum bought THE SAME Mustang number and all (a choice of #9 and #1 but minus coke and Moffat decals) for up to $180 - $200 CHEAPER freight inclusive.
It is not part of the Allan Moffat Collection as Biante didn't produce this model.
