Great to see the crash site has been cleaned up and a proposed memorial sign has been installed.
However not good to see a rubbish bin full of empty alcohol containers and many burnout / doughnut marks near the site.
come on people if you want this area to a place of remembrance think of your actions and the feelings of those that live nearby.
As they will have a big say in what is or if anything is placed in this area.

I could understand them even wanting the area cleared :(

two others who had never visited the site accompanied me on this visit.
they were taken by the fall of the road and tightness of the curve.
one remarked how it reminded him of Forest Elbow at Bathurst.
a bend Brocky new better than most others.

These guys were really taken by this visit one even had to take a walk to regain his emotions.
something I have done on a few visits to this area and I have been there at least 10 times.
