It's taken a lot of searching and some help from forum members (and some personal ingenuity) but my VU SS 2001 Brock Targa Tasmania Ute is nearly completed...
Here's a teaser shot... it's decaled and one coat of clear, currently only on the LHS - more to get decal fit/size and location as good as possible.

The number of photo's on-line is near zero! It's as if this Ute never existed.
Of the photos I have seen - including the Ute that Champion has - there is no consistancy. It seems the 1/64 Biante was modelled from Champion's museum piece which differs from a photo I found taken in a mall pre-race...
So far I have had to make a number of decals from scratch including:
The Targa Door Plate
The Targa number plate
Mobil Synergy
Wrest Point Country Club & Casinos
Computerland
The Black on Red "Eibach Springs" etc...
It's definitely been interesting, once fully decaled I'll put up some more photos,
All feedback welcome - including constructive photos if anyone has them... there's always room for improvement.
Cheers
Garry

Looks good, are the Holden decals printed on white decal paper with a red surround?

Yep Lachlan, that was the easiest way, then it was just a matter of close trimming.
Hey pitcrew, it's a "simple" code3 - not necessary to repaint, but the lack of info was a killer. Let me know if you need bits (pm), good luck
Thanks for the positive comments Rascot - given your level of coding :-)
Hey smokey_dj, I didn't go the contact path, I took all info from on-line etc but any contacts could be handy...

I've got both in various stages of development:o.
If anyone can help with pics of the Purple XU1, I'd appreciate it.

I printed all the decals myself, just 'simple' waterslides on white decal paper, then clear coated.
I'm in the process of doing more, having picked up a couple of 'cheap' vu ss's.....
