Who's at work & who's at home??

Just been thinking how many of us are using this forum whilst at work & how many use at home in their own time
For the record I work for myself from home :D

I check the forums at lunchtime every day at work, then I check them about 7:00pm every day at home.

Not really hooked am I? :)

i have the internet on at work between 8:30am & about 5pm (depends on when I go home) & then I usually check it at least once a night as I really enjoy using this forum.

I love collecting model cars & having a place to talk about them (as well as find out about up & comming models) is just fantastic.

Just don't tell the boss !!!!!

Ive been told that visiting this forum during work hours is "not acceptable use of office facilities". BUT!! the guy who sits two metres to my left surfs the web all day...

I work shift work as a Security Guard and am often cruising around the forum and auction sites at 4am on my office stint. Not for long though because we are about to be 'outsourced'. All good things have to come to an end some time. They have optical fibre which mkes viewing really quick. I have recently started using their computer to work on my web site rather than use my download time. Check it out at http.modelsworld0.tripod.com. Their not doing me any favours by getting rid of us so I have no problem using their facilities.

Monday to Friday 7.30 to 4.30 at anytime time of day (which is usually every 5 minutes) and maybe a hand full of times over the weekend. Love my job:D

Afternoon & Nightshifts tend to be very quiet so I browse the different forums and log into the Chat room.

I've often wondered at how many people are browsing when I have a look, usually at a time when it's way past your bedtimes in Oz! I'll have a look at work (when "work" isn't half way up a Scottish mountainside!) or when I get home, if my ISP isn't playing up....

i dont have net access at work, so i check it at home usually between 4 and 9. some time in there. and on the weekends when ive got time

I suppose I take my internet prevlidges for granted (& use it during spare time I get during the day & during my lunch break when I'm not working) but seeing I don't get paid for any overtime I do, I need some perks to compensaite.

I am on the forum at least twice a day but only from home in my own time. I work shiftwork and only "the chosen one's"
in the offices have the privilege of internet access, but god knows we have tried.

Despite having three computers on my desk at work supported by six screens i dont have the time to "surf" at work so i look in almost every day from home, plus the phone at home is remarkably quiet while i'm on the net, whereas at work it never seems to stop ringing.

I look at the forum first thing when I get to work, morning tea, lunchtime and afternoon tea. I've learn't so much more about models since discovering this forum and the website and its good to see what models are being made in advance. I'm one of the rare breed who don't have a computer at home and don't even have a cellphone!!

I work A/S at FoMoCo in the Engine plt. I am a maint electrician. I have access to th internet all night sometimes and sometimes only on my smoko breaks due to work load. I am allowed to use the internet in my smoko's for personal use so long as it is not naughty sites. I generally look at this site 4 times a night followed by 4 visits to ebay. From this you can figure I use the internet all shift!!!

Well, I don't work shift & I don't have access to a computer at work being out on the road all day. I start about 0615 & finish 12 hours later. The first job at home is to get Masters 4 & 2 bathed & into bed, & Miss 4 Months likewise, then Dinner, THEN Net time.
Don't have to tell the"Boss", she's generally hanging over my shoulder!

We have broadband at work which is nice and quick. Needless to say I only use home to check e-Mails and have a look around, too slow my dial up connection at home.
