In Europe this model is already available (also in 1/43) and is there anybody on this forum able to tell if this will be avaiolable in Australia i.e. does this brand have an inporter here?
this together with the unavailable Minardi the 2002 BAR and the Sauber ,are the only models still required to complete the field of 2002

There is good news and bad news. The good news is Univeral Hobbies (or Eagle Collectibles as they are also known) are supplying the Renaults with "Mild Seven" tobacco logo's so you get an authentic looking model.

The bad news that you may not be able to buy it in Australia as a consequence of the ban on Tobacco advertising.

Having said that, Universal Hobbies models are widely distributed here and it seems most local retailers don't have an issue selling their models of the Renault R5 Turbo with full Marlboro livery and the Porsche 911 with Gitanes livery.

Might be worth having a quiet chat to your favourite retailer to see if they can let you have one 'under the counter'.
