Just wondering how many have received their copy of the DVD or Video BACK TO BATHURST BROCK 2002 .. Picked mine up today and have just finished watching it,, much to the delight of everyone else in the family :D
Anyhow I thought it was very well put together and some fantastic insight into the life of Brockie and the lead up to Bathurst 2002. Anyhow interested to hear what others think,, thought a post would already be up for this topic...
Well done Biante.. ;)

Xcesiv308,
I think the Brock "Back to Bathurst "DVD is fantastic, a must for any Brock or V8 Supercar fan. That black Autoart car has to be the sexiest looking V8 Supercar to ever hit the track. My only complaint with the DVD is the the sound. The narrator's voice is far too quiet in many places and can't be heard clearly against the backgound, and also in the pit activity people's voices are too muffled by background noise. Despite the sound problems, I think the DVD is well worth the money - a great insight into what went on behind the scenes and the preparation for the race.

Grubby,

Sorry to drag up this old thread but I recently purchased this DVD and am part of the way through watching it and really enjoying it.
Some of the comments are quite interesting considering Brocky's giving it another nudge this year.
What I wanted to know though was if forum member Rob was one of the guys applying the sponsors decals to the black car just before the media announcement? I'm sure he had something to do with this.
Yes I designed livery for the Brock car and the guys
@ Signzone did the signage who are the guys
in the DVD.
Sadly because I am really a dentist they couldn't
show my face on camera just the back of my head.
The film guys spent 6 hours here filming the "show car'
being born. The car that was driven at Bathurst was
actually the same car that was raced at the start of the
year but in the red version. So after the QLD 500 it was
painted Black for Bathurst then back to red for Indy before
finally going back to black for the collector who bought it
at the end of 2002.
So it won't rust!!!
Thanks for that info Rob. I have a photo of the Team Brock car looking rather secondhand after race 2 at Indy in 2002.
It was amazing to see the demand that the public put on Brocky at Bathurst. Bev had to put her foot down at one stage so that the crew could pack up but promised that Brock would sign everything. Will be interesting see if he is as accessible with HRT this year.

Knowing Brock in the past I'm sure he will be. It never stopped him at HRT before. The guy is just the blueprint for how people should treat the fans.
