ok, ive done it, i put a working siren in my cop car. quite simple, using few components and a speaker from a mobile phone it dits nicely inside the engine (can be installed without pulling the whole car apart) and the batteries (2xAAA) go in the fuel tank. the next step is to put in the working lights which will take alot more work. the only signs of the siren even being there are two black wires running under the car (next to the drive shaft) so they are nearly invisable. i have attached a pic of it but unfortionately i cant record the sound for you to hear.
