Love the Bond/Gibson 1978 Ford Cobra 1/43 announcement.
Yeh, great to post the news letter here, thanks.
The 1:43 EH is little surprise. As a guess, Trax must have pumped out 50,000+ closed body versions, albeit first release was way back in 1990. More recently they had a couple of their Opal releases which have opening doors, boot & hood. These have gone well on the secondary market. Be interesting to see Biante release numbers, & how the Biante version compares against Trax. Hell of alot of 1:43 EH's floating around though.

i was going to say that you can't be right, but actually, you are. there would be 53,600 EH sedans produced by Trax as of Dec 2008.

lol Dave, Roche mentioned a "Brock Volvo", the only one I'm pretty sure is the Super Tourer you posted. And since the Rydell 850 is being released in the US next month (could be delayed I suppose), it may well be released in the middle of next year :)

lol Dave, Roche mentioned a "Brock Volvo", the only one I'm pretty sure is the Super Tourer you posted. And since the Rydell 850 is being released in the US next month (could be delayed I suppose), it may well be released in the middle of next year :)
For those interested in that Volvo, AA are also doing the 1994 entries, which are Estates :D :laugh4: Thinking of getting a Lammers car...
Yes he did mention the Brock Volvo. Then he said this.
Sorry, have it all wrong, was thinking of A88593 #55 from 1985!
Its late and I still at factory working waiting on answers!
HPI are also doing the 850 sedans and estates in 1/43
Yes the estates have been done.

Only time will tell!! we need a better sample of the first one, which will help build numbers well. Plenty of time yet!
just like to say Chris that to be really honest i would never buy a volvo real car or model unless it was a brock 1 so as dar as no# go for this other 1 i wont be purchasing it but would be more than 100% to get the brock version thats just something special that only comes around once in a blue moon just cause i work at holden now im not totally 1 eye'd :p

Hmmm hope the numbers improve on the Volvo. I have my name down for one. We need this kind of variety in Australian Touring Car models to keep this hobby fresh IMO
Agreed Pug......looking forward to having a manufacturer that is different to the normal cars I buy....
Chris.....I don't think you'd have any problems flogging any Brock Volvo's!
My Last post the last pic should have been the #15 Rydell car.

Richo drove Brock's old 850 and then moved onto the new S40.

Just saw that the Fujitsu cars are due 4th quarter this year. I wonder if they come with flat left front tyres? lol
