Back in 1986/87 there was a ton of paperwork flying around within Holden / HDT circles, directed to the dealer network. Often, for every Holden bulletin there would be a HDT reply, and vice versa.
For a short time, in its infancy, Peter Champion's HDT used to sell copy documents of this type on eBay, along with an extensive range of reproduction HDT badges, decals, etc.
These items make for a better historical understanding of how the Holden-HDT relationship broke down. In the example document posted by Damage you'll see a reference to "DB Tech" as the organisation marketing the Energy Polarizer ... an abbreviation of Dowker Brock, this business was created in response to Holden's disapproval of HDT promoting the device ... the thought process being something along the lines of Brock shifting responsibilty away from HDT and thereby satisfying GM-H's complaint ... not ... and so it goes ...

Thats right, I recall PC flogging copies of old HDT stuff. Never saw this one for sale, possibly because it's Holden. Although copyright doesnt stop him, he sells copies of Castrol, Mobil, PBR, Harrisson, Delco, Marlboro etc etc logos, decals and stuff.
I have the original DBTech Polarizer info card in my VL's service wallet. Its about A5 size.

I love reading old stuff like that.
Thanks for posting and keep em coming.
I used to have hundreds of old bulletins etc from both Holden and Nissan as my
dad was a sales manager for a dealership that had both franchises and i used
to collect anything i could get my hands on including badges, brochures, videos etc but
chucked them out when i hit my late teens :o
And i regret it to this day :(
As a principal of the QMM, I am extremely interested in attaining items of interest, not just of $ value, for creating a visable forum for the motoring enthusiasts of the world. Please feel free to engage with me through our web site www.qldmotorsportmuseum.org (http://www.qldmotorsportmuseum.org)
A number of the cars in Peter Champions museum in Yappoon were prepared by our small team at QMM through research uncovering items of interest that were turned into such delightful exhibits like the Brock Torana sports sedan fondly known as The Beast.

Oh how I can relate to that Mr F1Webber. Now my wife just thinks I am nuts. I have sheds of stuff all over the place - magazines, models, panels, real cars and race cars..... man does it cause some major Agro.
