Thanks for posting......That blue LC is a very sweet little machine. Way back when, the NSW Highway Patrol (or to be correct for the time - Special Traffic Patrol) used similar looking cars, and as a then yet unlicenced boy, I wanted one of them SO bad ! Still looks great - might step out and buy a lotto..........Cheers, Jim.

these are all unedited straight from the camera, so some of the sharpness isnt there and a couple are grainy, very hard to get the right exposure due to different lighting for each car. More pics at Element Photography on facebook too if your keen to go on there

What cheesed me off about this show was that there wasn't one single genuine HDT commodore, or GTHO falcon, only a couple of retro's and half of the place was skylines and slivias.. Not what it used to be like, back in the day it was full of the good old GT and HDT commodores. Plus some stinkers which you would hear coming before you saw them, and on the sunday night at the end of the show, they used to drive out and and do a burnout as they all left. Good times back then.

Some of the commodores there were shocking. Mostly from the "Aus Commodores" section. Although there was that stunning formula blue VK with the Group C kit that looked as tough as anything.
And some really nice Monaro's were there too.

I'll post up some pics later but I dont have many good ones unfortunately. My cheapy point and click camera did not like the lighting.

that crappy blue VN and the white one was only there as they are a member of the car club and could go in as a group. I shook my head at those two cars..

It gives the club a bad name with those two being displayed.

And dont even get me started on Queen Street customs. Why would you bother even modifying a Ferrari like that? I'm not sure if its true but someone told me that the twin turbo engine they dropped in has less power than stock.

those 2 vn's you are talkin bout are father and son, even single car club i know of gives them flick, Element i was speaking to the people running the dyno (friends of mine) they mentioned that the organisers had to turn people away as there was so many cars so next year they are going to use both the pavilions to get more cars in, funny thing with that ferrari is my mate cammed gen 3 wagon (which was on display) makes more power than that thing which we thought was funny

Fezza made 270rwkw on Sunday. 360's are 300fwkw stock, so might as well be stock.

A mate was encouraging me to enter my EB Falcon with his RX7. But I didnt want to because its not showy enough.

But after seeing those 2 VN's in particular I should've. I would've won a dyno trophy too!!!

here is a video of the last car on the dyno yesterday the 1st run it done 403rwkw with the handbrake on, it has a disc style handbrake infront of the diff which didnt fully release completley so it was glowing red, the 2nd run (video) had the dipstick blew out also look at the drivers side exhaust pipe the dump pipe that was there had to be taken off as the bolts were only finger tight (video is from a friend who had his ute on the dyno as well which done 477rwkw on saturday with NOS)

yeah i hadnt been for like 7 years cos it was only my mates cars in the shows basically back then, and i could see then anytime, and both pavillions were always full, hopefully next year will be bigger and better and have less Jap crap, and more street machines, like back in the day when you could street race, and so a burnout when you left on the sunday night, which was always good to wait around for, but in the end the police caught on and one used to park by the exit , so it was game over.

the two VN's disgraced that stand, and i bet they think that those cars are wicked, and would beat yours or my car, lol... they have the brain the size of a caraway seen.
