alright guys the forums been getting abit too serious again me thinks so its time for another fun thread this happend by accident last night at waynos place (maybe a maybe you had to be there situation but im willing to give it a try)

the way this came up was last night nace told wayno to turn the light off and i was sitting closer to the switch so i tried the larko grid interveiw style reach around to turn it off then wayno and i let lose saying...

well if larko did do this what other checks would he have done

i said put the heat gun to it to check the temp

then wayne said draw a diagram of it first

then check the camber on the dimmer angle and on and on we went

the challenge is what is the funniest everyday thing you can think of that larko would have to have a technical meltdown trying to figure out rather than just doing the task at hand :p

Larko could use a cad/cam model of the light switch to illustrate the mechanism to modulate the power, courtesy of Harrop Engineering.

Then with a replica switch, he can explain how excessive loading on the switch could potentially strip the mounting screws.

Maybe you should have run to the other end of wayno's house to get a look at how the other light switches are handling the situation.

take each switch for a test drive and show how to turn them on whilst giving commentary on techniques used

all depends whether the lights were braky under bumps

Did you take in to consideration the light-switch of the future? (LOTF)

Ah, but is it raining out? Then it is mandatory that the lights remain on.

A mate of mine is a mechanical engineeer and he can't make anything, even a little bracket, unless he's drawn it first.

Fuel stratergy, forward or reverse window

If you are going to get into Fuel then you have to measure the distance to the refueling rig (fridge). How many crew allowed at the rig during refuelling. Correct operation of the fuel churn with demonstration can (suitably doctored by Skaifey unbeknownst to Larko)

I can just see a David Attinborough special on the "little known but oft talked about warbling Larko of Eastern Australia." While generally a creature found scouring the aisles of local electronics and automotive stores, Australian television viewers are infrequently privileged to manage a glimpse of this endangered species and view the 'zen diagram' mating dance which has been well documented by local ornithologists

Cromo " Ive crunched the numbers and its looking like Wayno racing and Smokey Racing pitted way to early and wont make the end of the race without another pit stop (toilet break) :p so looks like it'll be a quick splash n dash with a few laps to go

Hey, we were talking about Larko's approach to real-world situations. Not fiction.
