Mark webber is having a valuation test on 28/6/2002 for Jaguar, who are owned by Ford.
this is another part of the ongoing Mark Webber F1 plan
If this happens then we will definatly FINALY get a model in 1/18 of one of our driverhero's in the topsport of motorsport
Ohh how I would like to have a 1/18 2002 Minardie in my collection and next to my as yet to be produced 1/18 alan Jones and Sir Jack Brabham aand his son's efford in the illfated (cannot for the life of me think of the name just now)
The Minardie racecar of this year is particuarly looking sensational!
Mark has been rumoured to be linked with Renault,Toyota and now with Jaguar to take the place of Eddy Irvine
happy collecting to you all

David Brabham drove a Simtek-Ford.
I have the rumours about Webber as well, and I think he still a contract with Renault, not that it seems to mean much. Lets just hope he can get into a competitive car, and that Minardi dont go broke

To the best of my knowledge Mattel have the exclusive rights to produce the Jaguar F1 models so the chance of seeing a Mark Webber version is ZERO ! IF Minichamps had the rights their would at least have been some possibility of a limited run model if there was support from Biante and Aussie collectors.

Webber is managed by Renault's Flavio Briatore who is a long-time friend of his Jaguar Racing equivalent Niki Lauda. Briatore also manages Fernando Alonso and is reportedly very keen to place at least one of his drivers with Jaguar next season.

Dear Jager;
I do ,respectfully disagree with your statement
If Webber becomes a driver for Jaguar at least a 1/18 model will come out ., and II will buy it for sure
Maybe I did not explain myself correctly ,for this my apologies.
I do have some "good" pictures of the model expo including your fine effort in the Le Mans models.

Mark Webber did an interview today(sunday) where in a round about way one could make out that there is something going on between Nickie Lauda and Paul Stoddard.
this is either engine related or driver transfer ,like Eddie Jordan was saved from going under by selling Eddie Irvine to Ferrari
by the way, for you who saw the interview it was very silly to see mark having to pretend to talk in a mobile phone while the satelite delay and the quality of the sound was clearly indicating that it was NOT through the stinking Telstra mobile piece of $#@^
it was an insult to mark and everybody who saw it.
Mark wore the shirt with his personal sponsors (telstra,Fosters) and the rest was a farce. Shame on the marketing smallhead who thought of the farce and good on Mark for doing the right thing for his sponsors ,which I aplaud for supporting him.
please do not insult the target market in this way, please :D
