i would say priceless , thats how i view my collection, but the best way to gauge prices of different cars is to check the model shops on the net and also the auction sites too, you will get an average price on all the cars overall. I have a basic list of prices on my website in an excel spreadsheet your welcome to download its at

Definately priceless if you are buying them for your own collection and never to be sold again.
In other hobbies, a complete collection is worth more. But with biantes, prices wouldn't get much extra I don't think. Plus alot of people have made there own sets eg: holden set / ford set / bathurst set/ etc. It would be very rare for someone to have the complete set of these cars. If you were to sell a complete set, it would add up to alot, even using the original prices.
Only real reason it could be worth a bit extra, is that they are all mint in box, and would save the buyer alot of time chasing these cars. There is a bit of fun looking for that model that you have missed, but a huge relief once you have it.
I am one collector who wished he had known about these cars earlier, as missing some out of a collection, they are very dear to get hold of.
I am glad about on thing, that I started in yr2000. If I started now, there would be so many more to chase, to catch up.
I rather not think about the price of a complete set. I would add up to a nice second hand car.
A very ruff release price quess, around $12,000
