Well guys, I've now been a couple of weeks without any form of motorsport and I'M GOING NUTS!!!!!
Had the videos and DVDs' out to help and Nick Masons Into the Red CD. Was just wondering how others handle this very stressfull time of year?
At least WRC starts end of January!

Videos here as well! And the pleasure of watching some of Britain's greatest drivers spinning the wheels of their Vauxhall Corsas down my street. That always brings a smile to my face, especially if they're playing REALLY loud music at the same time.
I'm ordering a whole load of DVDs of Group B rallying from the '85 and '86 season to tide me over. If you want to see how insane and scary the Group B cars were, watch "The Rally Supercars" from Duke Video. It has the 530 bhp Audi Sport Quattro S1, steam pouring from its brakes, flames spouting from the exhaust, actually lifting its nose as it accelerates hard along a mud track at 200kmh, inches from spectators! Plus the most astonishing in-car sequence of Walter Rohrl driving on a narrow tarmac lane between a tunnel of spectators, some of whom are actually on the track and jump out of the way at the last moment! Rohrl has to just drive full speed straight through them and hope that they do get out of the way. The shots of his feet on the pedals is mind-boggling! Even if you're not particularly a rally fan, or you're only familiar with the current rally cars, buy it and you won't be disappointed.

It's only £6 from www.wentworth-trading.net - you can't go wrong at that price!

Me and oldxr have discovered VCD's and DVD's. We're busy transferring our old videos off to VCD's and DVD's over Christmas. Lotsa viewing to be done and now the damn videos won't go off after a few times of watching. Cd's and DVD's are supposed to last alot longer if not scratched.:D

Supposed to...I've got LP's from the 60's and 70's, audio and video tapes from the 80's and they all still work fine...but according to newspaper reports, some of the cheaper CD's from the 90's don't work today...

One of our neighbours hung some CD's in his garden to scare away birds...they lasted less than a month before they delaminated...and that was in August!

Cheers

Surely you guys must be speedway fans? It's the high season for the best summer motorsport around!... What about a bit of sprintcar racing? Super Sedans?

Speedway's on every weekend! Check you nearest venue!

Well my wife is happy that there is a break.

I've got a very long list of jobs that need to be done now that she has dragged me away from the telly.

A few DVD's and a wishlist for some new ones for Xmas, like the 2003 highlights from Bathurst (did I mention Murph won! lol)

Might have to sneek down to Parramatta Speedway for some fumes. Anyone have any info re the new drag strip at EC?

XU1Torana, now we just need to get hold of the earlier Bathurst and convert them to DVD, we might even be able to offer a service to the other forum users to convert thier old vids, (for personal use only) he he he ha ha ha.
