That first one is one of the funniest things I've read for a while.... Everyone should take a look at it. Give it time to load up (including the photos - they're hilarious) and read it all. Pi$$ed myself.

Brilliant, and very funny! But the science is clearly flawed. They must have different laws of physics over there, because here the best way to make your car faster is to ADD fibreglass, not remove it. A neon light underneath reduces drag, and an rough blonde girl in the passenger seat increases power. The extra thrust of the exhaust gases through a 20cm tailpipe, and the better handling and grip obtained by adding a Technics sticker to the rear window means that you can safely tell your mates you "burned up a Ferrari" in your 1.3 and they will believe you.

...not to mention the improved aerodynamics obtained from a ghastly coloured paint job.

And I also forgot the ballast effect of amps, CD changers and "bass cannon" in the boot giving better traction. There's a Hyundai Accent near me with THREE big rear spoilers (one on bootlid, one half way up window and one on the roof) and from the way the spotty 20 year old sits in it outside his house and revs the nuts off it while parked, the additional plastic must have increased the power of the 1.3. And they say there's no substitute for cubic inches.........clearly they're wrong.

Also remember to turn your cap around so the wind doesn't get under the peak and cause aerodynamic lift. This is important as the window will ALWAYS be open so everyone can hear how huge your stereo is and see how cool you are.

....yes, I always want to suggest that if it's so loud they have to open their window, they could always try turning it down a bit. But obviously they labour under the misapprehension that every pedestrian, man, woman or child, who hears their stereo will gasp in awe as they drive by.......If I could get hold of some concentrated sulphuric acid in a beaker I would gently remind them that not everyone likes it when they drive past with their windows down.....it might work. Failing that, a well-aimed dog t*rd lobbed underarm as they drive past might do the job.
