As of last wekend, we have become proud co-sponsors of Richard Cox's Formula 1 Powerboat.
This thing is awesome and Bev had a chance to see it race last weekend on Perth water.
The Championship starts 22nd Feb in Geelong, then to Newcastle, Perth, Adelaide etc.
For West Aussies, it will be racing on Feb 8th at Burswood and will be at Skyworks night.
How about a miniboat behind a minicar?? Wouldnt that look great??

Congrats admin. The powerboat looks cool with that big biante sign on it and a mini-car-boat combo would be cool.

Yup, would look good & would catch up to Corgi. They've been doing that sort of thing for a while, only in 1/43.

Not a bad looking bit of fibreglass.
You'ld be the first to the best feeding/catching site, but where do you put the fishing rods?

Sounds like a great idea & it's great to see that you're venturing out onto the deep blue yaunder.
What would be good would be if you did it behind that teams tow vehicle as a special two pack.
Perhaps later down the track you could expand the series as there is a lot of interest in the HSV powered Malibu wakeboard boat.
cheers. :)

How about a 1/18th scale power boat behind any of the big V8's with appropriate tow bars & hitches

Is there anyone from Hayman-Reece reading this? We need 1/18 scale tow bars with 1/18 scale 50mm balls, towballs that is.
Don't forget the chains and 7 pin plug and socket. :)

hi guys
the tow balls are the easy part of the tow bar just use remote contol turn balls that go on the servo horns they are scale 50mm
i only know this through using one on an xy for a trailor full of motorcross bikes for a display
so now we only need a good scale towbar to go with it if biante do these boats in 1:18

i was down watching a friend in her first races in a 2 man/woman power dinghy thing, (she won one race....go Sarah and Sam) at burswood today and the R. Cox machine pulled up along with other power boats. they look stunning. cant wait for the model when it comes up.
What would be good would be if you did it behind that teams tow vehicle as a special two pack.
but looking at the tow vehicle twin pack, wed have to get a 1:64 landcruiser. in basically just plain white everyday driver type car, it wasnt anything special.
along with the biante/amc boat, i would love to see the use one. (cant remember the main sponser, it had an american flag on the side/back) it looked great.
and also the HRT maloo/response R8, the avalanche/wake boarding boat (http://www.hsv.com.au/rmenu.asp?link=news/2003/wa keboard.html) or either the kelly avalanche and bikes (http://www.hsv.com.au/news/2004/images/access_all _areas/16max.jpg) or the avalanche and ski boat (http://www.hsv.com.au/news/2004/images/access_all _areas/08max.jpg)
it would make a great collection
