Hey admin, I've noticed that you are producing a hell of a lot of racing cars lately which is terrific for those who are collecting these models but I chose to collect only street cars due to budgetry restaints. Just in case you have forgotten about us street car boys here is my wish list of 1:18 cars
XR-GT ,XT-GT ,XA-GT(COUPE AND FOUR DOOR SEDAN)XB-GT(SEDAN) EB-GT, EL-GT
HK, HT, HG, HQ (COUPE AND FOUR DOOR) HJ,LE-MONAROS
HX-GTS, HZ-GTS
Can you give me an idea if any or all of the above cars will be produced and approximately when?
Is the HK going to be part of the HT-HG run?
Does anyone else want to see these great aussie muscle cars?

Quick answer...yes to all except the XA 4 door.
By the way, the next 5 cars are street cars...starting with the XW in Candy Apple Red out today.

Yeah, an XA GT 2 door in Red Pepper, maybe marketed as an RPO83 with all the spoilers......Of course an E38 Bathurst Special Charger in silver, EB GT Falcon in blue, VN SS Group A, in fact ANY competition-derived roadie. I've been waiting for the XC Cobra Bathurst Special, which has been "scheduled for production" since the late 19th century, or so it seems! But all good things come to those who wait, so I'm told......

I'm with you Nick, I'd like to see the VN Group A along with the Brock VL Group A and Brock VK Blue Meanie Group A. All these could be done in road and race trim. I'm probably slightly biased though with my obsession with Commodores SS's.

I would like to see some of the Group C Touring Cars from the 80's like Allan Moffat's Mazda RX-7, George Fury's Turbo Bluebird, Kevin Bartlet's Camaro, Brock's VK Commodore etc.

These cars definitely were amongst the fattest looking af all the touring cars and each would make a stunning model.

PS. Nick Short that Cobra you are waiting for was released a while ago but maybe Biante is going to run another batch, not sure though. Admin will know.

The Cobra that has already been released is the standard Cobra road car. The Bathurst special (Option 97) is still to come.

Hi, Admin - I'm already getting on a bit and was hoping the Bathurst Special Cobra was due out before I retire......

I'd love to see some more XC Hardtops - both '78/9 race cars (there were sone good liveries), and road cars, but I guess demand may not be huge for Bathurst back markers!

Oh, and a lime green L34 with Track Pack option would be nice.....

I think for now, ill set my dreams on cars that are possibly close to prodiction, ie they already have close varients. i would absolutely LOVE to see the VS GTS-R and a VR/VS GTS as i have seen the brock VR prototype and it looks great, and it requires only a few changes like new interior, bumpers and mags and its all set. if i do not see this within 12 months of the Brock/Mezera release, then i will (regrettably) convert one.

GTS-R PLEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEE

hang on admin
please don't do that. People will grab them and up go the prices, and I will miss it as usual.
Please make enough to go around

if that was meant to be a car model, then i must be only the second or third person here who have heard of that model before.

if that was a typo, and it was meant to be pizza, then perhaps we could leave the food out of this?

the piazza. isnt that a holden hatch thinggy from europe that basically fell on its ass. or are you reffering to the VW piazza? both would make nice models

I think most Piazza's were given away on sale of the century.

i remember seeing a holden piazza ONCE. i saw this 3 door thing i didn't recognise so i went around the back and checked it out.

sure it wasn't wheel of fortune.....? sale of the century usually gives away luxury cars......

If I'm not mistaken the Piazza was an Isuzu project known as Impulse here in the states. The car was based on Italian design, but budget shoratges left Isuzu no choice, but to built on Gemini (I-Mark, Spectrum) platform. I personally think that it was a pleasant departure style-wise from Asian econo-boxes of the mid-1980s. However, I don't think I would want a model of this vehicle. If you ask me, if Biante wants to make a model of re-badged Isuzu, it should settle on HRT Rally team Jackaroo (Isuzu Trooper).

thanks for info berkut. i didn't know the piazza originated from isuzu. afterall, i have only seen it once. :p it's down in my memory as one of these cars you never see on the road. ;)

Yeah,
I remember this car. It was supposed to take
over from the Holden Gemini when it was
discontinued in 86', but only lasted
about 2 years itself.

The above link might bring back some bad memories

Would love to see the Bathurst Winning Car of the youngest drivers ever to win - Lowndes and Murphy's VR Commodore in 96.
Also the Bob Jane 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
