With the Brock/Mezera car of '95 having been long released, would anyone like to see the sister car of Lowndes/Murphy? IMHO it would look really good sitting next to 05, a gentle reminder of just how much money can be poured into a combined 42 laps of the Mountain :(

I'd be much more interested in the Jones/Lowndes car from '94.

Must congratulate you singer. I think that is now the longest signature I've ever seen on the forum! :D

I would like to see both these cars made. Especially the 94 car as that was LOWNDES first ever drive on the mountain and he managed to finish 2nd behind bowe. These would loog great beside all my other LOWNDES models!!!!

Instead of a Lowndes/Murphy VR from 1995, I'd like a Gardner/Jones VR from 1995. It finished third and the Coke sponsorship looked great.

Gardner/Jones paired up in 93 in a HRT car (no Coke)...

95 and 96 Gardner finished 3rd and 4th respectively, but partnered by Crompton in the Coke car.

For Gardners Bathurst results/co-drivers etc click here (http://www.conrod.com.au/stats/drres.cgi?id=17&sc=-t-d+b-r)

OR are you talking about the Brad Jones/Win Percy (http://www.conrod.com.au/stats/drres.cgi?id=2&sc=-t-d+b-r) WGR Coke commodore that finished 5th in 95?

Either way, going on how well the 1:18 1999 Gardner Bathurst model sold...I don't think this will be made...

Cheers

My fault, the Coke commodore VR from 1995 with Gardner and Crompton.

Lowndes or Skaife VS from 1998 just so we can have a continuous run of HRT cars from '95 to present day. That livery looked good too.

Doubt you'll see another Coke Commodore.
A Biante staff member told me as long ago as 2000 that Coca-Cola were a nightmare to deal with regards licensing etc when Biante did the '99 Gardner/Brabham VT.
And you can still buy those new for $80!

I vote for a continuous string of HRT CARS from 1988 to the present :D

If you are talking about Bathurst cars I think the '98 was the VT. Murph drove the first HRT VT at Calder and by Bathurst they were all in 'em.

Id like to see a HRT collection....

every HRT car since they were formed until now... like a Brock or DJR collection...

Man that would be awesome!! I must admit to being surprised we haven't got a '98 Lowndes at least (I mean he only won the title).

mate if they did a HRT collection put me down for one of each now..

1988 onwards!... I have alot of the pics of the liveries (thanks to members here) but noone makes alot of the models (VN, VS, VR etc) to do code3 version....

that is even if people made the decals!

I would love to have the time and skill to modify cars to make the models I want, but spend most of my time working my a*** off to pay for my hobbies. Model cars, home theatre, music and travelling for motorsport get expensive after a while! (luckily outside these areas I have no time for a life and that evens things up a bit!)

converting the cars isnt the problem.. but unless you have the talent to almost scratch build a specific car type half the models are next to impossible to make..

I mean noone makes a VN model of any type... and I think now there are only 1:43 scale VS models (the recent biante ones... what used to be the Paradise Garage range)

It would depend I guess if we wanted a HRT collection in 1:43 or 1:18...

HRT collection in 1/18 would be great but I can't see it happening. With so many models alrady made it would be too hard to do it now.

maybe in 1:43 then... either way would be a HRT collection...

If only Win Percy and Alan Grice could have won Bathurst in 91, we would have had a VN Group A Bathurst winner.

Someone will one day take one Brock/Mezera VR with some paint stripper and some fresh paint and turn it into a 95 Perkins VR Bathurst winner in 1/18 scale.

I've been thinking about that one ever since i finished the Calsonic GTR come Winfield 92 winner.

Why not do it anyway? 2nd place was a fantastic finish with the new GTR's.

Great news on the HRT VN. The VN that REALLY floats my boat is the Brock Mobil version for Bathurst. Would love one of these just to help re-live that shootout lap!

Good news Admin, I'm hanging out (patiently) for the road versions of Group 3, Group A etc etc, some sweet cars amongst the "V" models.

Obviously it will take time for us to see these models but that is fantastic news. Especially about the VN Bathurst car. The VP's will look cool too with the "Ford" rear wings.

About the Coke Commodore, I was watching my commodore DVD and the Coke car Gardner was in at the start was number seven and at the end of the race it was Jones who was driving number 4. Did Gardner and Crompton transfer to the second car or what happend. Does anybody know?
